The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Friday, August 12, teases that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) will have a shocker for Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) while Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) pushes Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to dump Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).
First, Steffy will continue to process the news of Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) death along with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen). Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will get updates as they all express gratitude for Sheila finally being out of their lives.
Of course, there’s no way Sheila is truly gone forever. Sheila may be missing a middle toe, but that’s not enough to convince most B&B fans that she’s really dead!
This fake-out will just make it more shocking for the rest of these gullible characters when Sheila shows back up alive. Until then, Steffy will have a more pressing matter to discuss – namely the topic of Ridge and Taylor’s reunion.
Whether Steffy admits Taylor told her about the kiss or not, she’ll acknowledge Ridge has something special with her mom. Steffy will think Ridge needs to ditch Brooke permanently and get back together with Taylor. Although Steffy will pressure Ridge to come home where he belongs, his heart will remain torn.
Next, James Ripple will pop up to portray a bartender, so he may hold down the fort at Il Giardino while Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) takes a break. Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will be in total crisis mode, so she’ll need a shoulder to cry on.
Deacon will find out about Thomas wanting to move Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) in the Forrester mansion. Hope will be a nervous wreck about the possibility, but Deacon won’t think it’s actually going to happen and will try to ease his daughter’s mind.
Despite Deacon’s comforting words, Thomas isn’t going to just move on. Now that Thomas knows how much Douglas misses being together, he fully intends to make some changes to the custody agreement.
In the meantime, Li will pay Bill a visit at home. Bill will give Li a warm welcome and make sure she’s doing OK after her recent ordeal.
Li will promise she’s fine and will report that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) was given a clean bill of health, too.
After Li thanks Bill for all his help, she’ll fill him in on the deadly Sheila bombshell. Bill will reel as he realizes Sheila was supposedly killed by a bear on a campsite.
Naturally, Bill won’t care how grim Sheila’s end was and may even celebrate her pain. The important thing to Bill will be having Li, Finn and everyone else safely away from Sheila’s chaos.
