The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, March 4, reveals that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was suspicious after Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) cryptic phone call while Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) delivered a tirade over Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and the treatment she’d endured.
At the cliff house on Friday’s B&B episode, Thomas insisted they didn’t need Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) coming into their family and screwing things up.
Sheila was appalled over Thomas’ arrogance and wondered if after all these years, he really thought Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) luck miraculously changed on its own.
Sheila dropped major hints about being the reason Brooke got drunk in the first place, so Thomas started putting it all together.
Thomas realized Sheila must’ve made sure Brooke drank real Champagne that night.
Thomas also determined this was Sheila’s plan for payback – to drive Brooke into Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) arms and sabotage her relationship with Ridge.
When Ridge called from the office, Thomas claimed he was in the middle of something.
Thomas talked about an unscheduled meeting that came up and said he needed a little more time to dig into it.
After Thomas disconnected, he asked more questions about how Sheila set all this in motion.
Sheila argued that Brooke set it in motion instead and was now paying the price.
Sheila urged Thomas to let his family reap the benefits and keep quiet. Sheila felt Thomas would have the happy family he always dreamed of, but she warned that he couldn’t tell Ridge.
At Forrester Creations, Ridge worried about the gossip that would come from all his relationship drama.
Ridge faced questions about his marriage from an employee named Max (Akbar Gbajabiamila), but he downplayed everything and sent Max on his way.
Taylor was reassuring and understood that Ridge didn’t want anyone to get hurt in all this.
Taylor felt that he could lean on his family while Brooke leaned on her own.
Taylor knew Ridge wanted to figure everything out, but she suggested he should let it breathe and take it one moment at a time.
Ridge also expressed concern over Thomas being cryptic on the phone since that was never a good thing with Thomas!
At Brooke’s place, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) gave Brooke another pep talk and urged her to keep fighting for her marriage.
Brooke worried that maybe she should set Ridge free instead and refused to let Hope blame herself for her crumbling relationship.
Brooke feared that she was doomed to let Ridge down and considered the idea that maybe Taylor was the right woman for him.
Hope didn’t think Brooke should throw away years of what she shared with Ridge, especially not over the potential of what Ridge might have with Taylor.
Brooke felt that perhaps she should’ve told Ridge the truth about that night from the beginning.
However, Hope felt that Brooke could be open and honest with Ridge now. She pushed Brooke to talk to Ridge and insisted it wasn’t too late.
At Il Giardino, Bill weighed in on Brooke and Ridge’s marriage woes over a meal with Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Bill felt like Brooke always had to take the blame whenever things went wrong.
Bill added that Brooke deserved a whole lot more than she’d ever gotten from Ridge.
Bill felt Ridge was just as bad as Deacon only he’d never been held accountable.
Bill said Brooke should be “mad as hell” over Ridge’s treatment of her. He suggested Ridge was just giving himself excuses to go back to Taylor again and again.
Wyatt noted that “Bridge” had gotten through difficulties before. Liam pointed out that Hope thought they might be able to if Brooke didn’t give up.
That said, Liam knew people had a limit and expressed Hope’s fear that this could be the final nail in the coffin.
Liam still couldn’t understand why Brooke suddenly blew her life up when things were going so well back at Christmas.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Brooke will go back and forth, but she’ll ultimately fight for her future with Ridge down the road.
