The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) may demand full Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) custody over Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) dirty trick. The plot against Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) should backfire big time, so let’s talk about what’s ahead.
After Thomas found out about Brooke threatening to call CPS on him if need be, he stayed behind at the office while Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) went to the Forrester mansion.
That gave Thomas the perfect opportunity to call CPS himself and set Brooke up.
Thomas was able to use his knowledge of the knife situation as part of the call – and thanks to the voice changer app that Douglas mentioned, he was obviously able to use that, too.
However, Thomas is playing with fire and has just made a move that could blow all the progress he’s made.
Other than a few naysayers like Brooke, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), Thomas has earned a great deal of respect from everyone else.
Instead of staying calm and not giving Brooke ammo to work with, Thomas waved a knife toward her and has now faked a CPS call to blow up her marriage.
These are not the actions of a stable man who deserves to be the primary caregiver of a young boy.
Once Hope ultimately finds out what Thomas has done, she’s going to be livid.
Hope has bent over backwards to give Thomas the benefit of the doubt and has defended him repeatedly to Brooke as well as Liam.
After Thomas shows his true colors with this scheme, Hope may prove she’s not a pushover when it comes to fighting for Douglas.
It may take this shocking betrayal, but B&B spoilers suggest Hope’s eyes will be opened.
Hope will naturally be angry over Brooke being targeted, especially since this will derail her relationship with Ridge to the extreme.
Even so, this is bigger than just Brooke.
Hope has to think about the kind of person Thomas is at his core and whether he’s capable of caring for Douglas full-time.
The answer will clearly be no, so Hope may take this to court and push for full custody if she has to.
Thomas will inevitably make it so Hope wants to limit his contact with Douglas, so he may live to regret this sneaky CPS plan.
