The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Thursday, September 29 Recap – Ridge Hears Brooke's CPS Call – Bill's Aspen Offer to Steffy

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, September 29, reveals that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) heard Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) voice recording while Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) had an Aspen offer for Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

At the Forrester mansion, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) grumbled to his dad that Brooke did it, but Ridge waited for Brooke’s answer on whether she called CPS.

Brooke insisted it wasn’t her, but she understood why Ridge had to ask. After Ridge disconnected, Thomas wondered if his father honestly believed what Brooke said was true.

Thomas pushed Ridge to see that Brooke was lying, so Ridge snapped that was his wife and that he believed her.

After Ridge apologized for lashing out, he acted like they needed to save their anger for the person who was actually responsible.

After Thomas said there was a way to find out the truth, he talked about Walter Barnes (Steve Richard Harris) leaving Forrester Creations and getting involved in multiple branches of social services.

Thomas was sure one of those branches was CPS and suggested those calls must be recorded, so Walter could probably tell them who made the call.

Once Ridge called him offscreen, Walter came right over.

After some small talk on Thursday’s B&B episode, Ridge explained how two CPS officers showed up to question Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri).

Once Ridge assured Walter that Douglas was safe, he suggested someone was either deeply misinformed or trying to hurt Thomas.

That’s why they needed to know who made the call.

Walter warned that it was unethical for him to play the recording and feared he’d lose his license and livelihood if he got caught.

Thomas and Ridge repeatedly promised this would stay under wraps, so Walter finally agreed to play the recording as a personal favor.

Once Walker pulled up the case on his phone, he played the attached recording.

The caller sent CPS to the Forrester mansion address and urged them to hurry since Thomas was unstable and had a knife.

When asked to provide a name, the caller claimed to be Brooke Logan. Ridge was visibly furious since he assumed Brooke had lied to him.

Back at Brooke’s place, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) came in looking for Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and could see Brooke was upset.

Brooke had a lot that she was trying to process with Ridge and Thomas, so Liam wondered if this was about the whole knife thing.

Liam just wished they could go grab Douglas and get him out of there right now.

Brooke eventually admitted that CPS was called to check on Douglas’ well-being and that Ridge was very upset. Liam was taken aback and asked who would call Child Protective Services.

At the cliff house, Steffy came home to find Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) looking somber.

Taylor confessed she was tired of the mixed signals and felt like history was repeating itself.

After Taylor said she didn’t come back to LA for this, she suggested she was waiting for Ridge to choose her – only to go back to Brooke again.

Taylor knew how this story ended, but Steffy acted like Ridge was really seeing the light this time.

However, Taylor warned that she wasn’t a consolation prize. Steffy would respect Taylor’s decision if she wanted to give up, but she made it clear that Taylor shouldn’t give up because of Brooke.

Taylor didn’t want to be a homewrecker, but Steffy acted like Brooke already wrecked her home.

When Bill called Steffy, he revealed that he was putting his Aspen home up for sale and wanted to give her the first chance at it since she loved it there.

Bill offered to let Steffy go check it out and even added that she could take his jet.

After Steffy said she’d get back to Bill, she resumed her conversation with Taylor.

Steffy didn’t see why Taylor should give up now, but Taylor didn’t like the person she’d turned into with all this Brooke fighting.

Taylor felt she should respect Ridge’s marriage, but she couldn’t do it in Los Angeles.

Although Taylor said it was temporary, she just didn’t want to be in LA right now.

Steffy decided she would go with Taylor and suggested they could take a trip to Aspen.

Once Steffy explained Bill’s offer, she insisted it was her turn to support Taylor.

Steffy was never going to stop believing Taylor would reunite with Ridge and find happiness.

As other B&B news rolls in, we’ll deliver updates. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Taylor’s Aspen retreat will come with some curveballs, so stay tuned.
