The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Monday, January 10 Recap – Paris’ Mom Reveals New LA Job – Ridge Rids Brooke’s House of Booze

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, January 10, reveals that Paris Buckingham’s (Diamond White) revealed a new LA job while Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) took steps to rid Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) house of booze. Here’s how things played out on Monday’s B&B episode.

At the cabin, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) continued to blame herself for Brooke falling off the wagon, but Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) promised it wasn’t Hope’s fault.

Liam felt Brooke was getting the help she needed and was a fighter who would make it through this just fine.

Hope pointed out that between the situation with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) return, maybe the stress had been too much. She insisted that something or someone must’ve pushed Brooke over the edge.

Liam doubted that Deacon had anything to do with this, but Hope still felt guilty for pushing so hard and for leaving her struggling mom alone.

Hope was just grateful that Brooke was being so open about that night and not keeping anything from them.

In Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) hotel room, she looked at a pic of herself with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Piper Harriot) on her phone.

Sheila thought back to Brooke’s vicious warning and then had a flashback of carrying out her Champagne label switch.

Sheila smiled over how no one was going to keep her from a life with her son and grandson, especially not Brooke!

“Oh, Brooke. When are you gonna learn not to push me?” Sheila said to herself.

At Brooke’s AA meeting, Brian (Alfonso Caballero) the meeting leader once again pushed Brooke to confirm she was alone when she drank on New Year’s Eve.

Brooke lied that she was indeed alone that night before Ridge took her hand in the present.

Although Brooke honestly didn’t know why she had the desire to drink, Brian suggested that maybe it was a subconscious one that had been building for a while.

Brooke was committed to her sobriety and was thankful for Ridge’s support. She insisted that she couldn’t let whatever drove her to drink happen again.

At home later, Brooke flashed back to waking up in bed next to Deacon. She couldn’t figure out how she made such a terrible mistake and didn’t want to relapse again. Ridge promised Brooke wouldn’t and did his best to reassure her.

Brooke didn’t want to lose Ridge, but he made it clear that they were in this for better or for worse.

Ridge felt that as long as they were honest with each other, they could face anything together.

Ridge got rid of all the booze in the house so that Brooke wouldn’t be tempted. He praised Brooke for being the hottest, strongest, most courageous woman he’s ever known.

Ridge was grateful that Brooke trusted him enough to tell him what happened and vowed never to leave her again.

At Forrester Creations, Paris had a flashback of her kiss with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).

Paris also got a notification on her phone around the time Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) appeared under the guise of needing design help.

Zende admitted it threw him for a loop when Paris said she wanted to keep things loose and casual. However, he appreciated Paris’ honesty and respected how straightforward she was being.

Paris was distracted over texts on her phone, so she admitted her mom was sending her random pics out of the blue.

With her dad and Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) gone, Paris said it was hard not having any family around. She confessed that she missed her mom a lot.

“I miss you too, Paris,” Dr. Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) said as she appeared in the doorway.

Paris ran over to hug her mom and realized Zende had arranged a surprise visit. She thanked Zende for doing this before he left the two of them to catch up.

Meanwhile, Carter also flashed back to his kiss with Paris.

When Zende came in with a huge smile on his face, Carter quizzed him about what was up. Zende explained how he pulled off a big surprise and let Carter know that Paris’ mother was in town. All Zende really cared about was making Paris happy.

Zende admitted to having an engagement ring made for Paris and nearly proposing on New Year’s Eve.

Zende really loved her, but he couldn’t go through with it because he wasn’t sure how Paris felt about him now.

Carter confessed that Quinn already told him about the engagement ring since she was proud of the design. Zende gushed over the romantic night he planned, which didn’t even last through dessert!

Zende couldn’t help but feel like there might be some competition and wondered who else Paris could be into.

Back with Grace, she told Paris that LA looked good on her. Grace was proud of all Paris’ accomplishments and what a wonderful young woman she’d grown into.

When Paris asked how long her mom was staying, Grace teased her daughter about trying to get rid of her already.

However, Paris insisted that wasn’t the case. She just knew the hospital would have a hard time getting by without Grace.

That’s when Grace admitted she handed in her resignation since it was time for a change.

It was another reason for Grace’s visit to Los Angeles since she had multiple job offers in the area, including one for the hospital down the street.

Grace didn’t want to cramp Paris’ style, but she asked how her daughter would feel about her moving there. Paris said that would be awesome, but Grace seemed like she wanted to be extra certain.

Grace said if Paris would have her, then she was there to stay. Paris reiterated that it’d be awesome and that she’d love having her mom there in LA.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Paris may change her tune once Grace starts butting in her love life, so stay tuned!
