The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Monday, January 24 Recap – Taylor Flirts With Ridge – Hope Drops Deacon Bomb on Liam

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, January 24, reveals that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) stripped down for pushy Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) while Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) dropped a Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) bomb on Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).

At home on Monday’s B&B episode, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) was adamant that she’d lose Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) forever if he knew the truth.

Hope countered that it was just one kiss, but Brooke pointed out that she shared a bed with Deacon.

Hope argued that Brooke said nothing happened, so Brooke confirmed that nothing did.

Brooke added that there wasn’t “enough alcohol in the world” for that, but she still worried Ridge would end the marriage over what happened.

Since Brooke didn’t want to lose Ridge over some “stupid, alcohol-fueled mistake,” she warned that Hope couldn’t tell anybody. Hope insisted that she had to tell Liam, but Brooke wasn’t keen on that idea.

It suddenly hit Brooke that Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) still knew the truth.

Brooke worried that Douglas would innocently go around telling people about Grandma kissing Santa Claus. She feared that Douglas might tell someone in the “Tridge” family or even Ridge himself.

At Forrester Creations, Ridge and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) talked about how familiar their hugs seemed, even after all these years, with Taylor clearly flirting with Ridge.

Taylor mentioned how her memories of Ridge kept her away, but those same memories also got her through some of her saddest times.

Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) peeked in on their parents’ close moment, but they chose to shut the door and leave them alone a bit longer.

Once Thomas and Steffy eventually interrupted, they complained about Brooke.

Ridge argued that he was working through things with his wife, but Steffy thought he needed some tranquility and said there was a family right there who loved him. Steffy felt they’d never let Ridge down the way Brooke had.

After Ridge left, Taylor called Steffy and Thomas out for trying to get their parents back together. She pointed out Brooke was a hitch in that plan, but Steffy acted like things could change.

Taylor said it was impossible and thought wishing the end of Brooke’s marriage was bad karma.

Steffy countered that she wasn’t actively wishing for it to end. She just knew that Brooke would do something to screw up her relationship with Ridge.

Back at Brooke’s place, she was expressing her fears about her marriage when Ridge walked in. Ridge wondered what was going on, so Hope left them to talk.

Brooke tried to act like everything was fine with Hope and continued to beat herself up for letting Ridge down.

Brooke didn’t want to lose their wonderful life together, but Ridge said there wasn’t a single thing that would make him walk out that door.

At the cabin, Douglas remained concerned that Hope and Liam were upset with him. Liam reassured Douglas, but he wondered if the kid was absolutely certain of what he saw on New Year’s Eve.

Douglas stood by his story and just hoped he didn’t make “Lope” mad by telling them.

When Hope returned, she learned Douglas was outside playing. Liam thought Hope looked drained and asked what Brooke said.

Liam was floored to learn Deacon was the man Douglas saw kissing Brooke that night.

At Carter’s loft, he pulled away from his kiss with Paris and said they should stop. Paris went in for another kiss, but Carter pulled away once and seriously thought they shouldn’t do this.

Carter pointed out that Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) was still in love with Paris.

Carter understood why and showered Paris with compliments, so she started unbuttoning his shirt.

Carter admitted he wanted Paris – and she wanted him, too.

Paris didn’t see why they were still talking and kept trying to take things to the next level with a now shirtless Carter.

However, Carter pulled away once more and argued that he couldn’t go down this road again.

Carter reflected on what happened with Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) and Eric Forrester (John McCook), but Paris thought that was different since Quinn was a married woman.

Carter insisted that he somehow came out of that situation with some respect intact.

Carter didn’t want to get involved with another Forrester since they were like family to him. At the same time, Carter didn’t know how he was supposed to stay away from Paris.

Carter didn’t want to be the kind of guy who betrays his friends, but he struggled to resist Paris’ continued temptation.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Paris and Carter’s connection will cause plenty of problems in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
