The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, October 24, reveals that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) blindfolded Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) for a huge gift while Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) engagement ring stunned Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).
At Brooke’s place, she begged Ridge to tell her that Aspen was a mistake.
Ridge said it was never his intention to hurt Brooke and added that he just needed to get some of his things.
Brooke didn’t understand why Ridge was doing this, so he thought back to the CPS call drama.
After Ridge packed a suitcase, he told Brooke that they couldn’t keep hurting each other.
Ridge said Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) was going to get the paperwork together for an annulment, so Brooke was crushed.
It was like Ridge wanted to pretend their marriage never existed and trample on their vows.
Although Brooke once again wondered what changed, Ridge simply said that Carter would be in touch.
After Ridge told Brooke that he’d always love her, he walked out despite her protests.
At the cliff house, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) admitted she felt a little bad for Brooke, but she was surprised that Taylor had any sympathy.
Since Steffy was eating mango, she cracked a joke about how Taylor shouldn’t let that “man-go.”
Once Steffy stepped out of the room, she came back and found Taylor getting off a suspicious phone call.
Since Taylor was acting so weird, Steffy pushed her mom to tell her what was going on.
Taylor admitted she had a surprise in store for Ridge – a way to step into their future with something from their past.
Although Taylor wouldn’t offer any details, she did ask Steffy if she had a blindfold.
Later, Taylor led a blindfolded Ridge inside Wyatt Spencer’s (Darin Brooks) old beach house, which used to be her home with Ridge.
Once Ridge’s blindfold was removed, he realized Taylor bought the place and kissed her in approval. Taylor smiled as she welcomed Ridge home.
At the cabin, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) ranted to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) about Deacon being dump enough to think he had a shot with Brooke.
Instead, Bill was going to step in and move on with the woman who truly accepted him.
Liam thought Brooke might need some space, so Bill assured his son that he wouldn’t put any pressure on her.
That said, Bill felt the end of Brooke’s marriage would lead to a change for the better.
At Il Giardino on Monday’s B&B episode, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) talked to Deacon about Bill’s harassment, Brooke’s heartbreak and Steffy’s interference.
Although Hope had been a defender of Brooke’s marriage, she decided that maybe Ridge didn’t deserve her – not like Deacon did.
Hope said everyone knew how Deacon felt about Brooke and thought they pay her a visit so he could share those feelings.
Soon after, Hope and Deacon headed to Brooke’s house, where Hope suggested that maybe Ridge belonged with his other family.
Brooke wondered how Hope could say that, but Deacon thought their wise daughter was onto something.
Deacon knew this might seem out of the blue, but he said he’d been dreaming about this for a very long time.
If Brooke would just give Deacon a chance and take this journey with him, he vowed to cherish her and never make her question his feelings or loyalty.
Deacon presented Brooke with an engagement ring and urged her to say that she’d marry him.
Brooke looked shocked as Deacon stood there awaiting her answer.
