The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) may offer a final goodbye to Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), so Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) may fume over their dad tearing their family apart.
B&B fans will recall how Ridge insisted the CPS call wasn’t the reason he reunited with Taylor. According to Ridge, he was marrying Taylor because he loved her.
However, Ridge wasn’t being honest with Taylor or even himself.
That CPS call clearly pushed Ridge to dump Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and get back together with Taylor instead.
Thomas knew that’s what would happen and that’s exactly why he framed Brooke for calling Child Protective Services on him.
The goal was to have a happily reunited “Tridge” family, but that obviously didn’t go according to plan!
Ridge and Taylor have been out of town on separate soul-searching journeys, but they’ll both make it back to Los Angeles soon.
Taylor will still be battling regrets over that brief window of time she kept Thomas’ secret before the wedding.
That decision certainly hurt Ridge, but it was somewhat understandable considering how overwhelmed Taylor was and how fast everything happened.
It was still wrong, but at least Steffy was there to stop a marriage that was based on deception.
Regardless, Ridge’s next decision can’t be about the CPS call, the wedding drama or anything other than what’s in his heart.
It’s clear that Ridge needs to decide who he can’t live without and make a firm commitment.
Of course, Ridge was always staring at Brooke’s photo and moping off into space, even before he knew she didn’t betray him.
Ridge wasn’t acting like a man who was all in on marrying Taylor, so there’s no reason to think he’ll suddenly want only her.
B&B has set the stage for Brooke and Ridge to have a powerful destiny reunion, so there’s a good chance Ridge will share a final goodbye with Taylor and break her heart.
Naturally, that’s going to be upsetting news for Steffy and Thomas.
It’ll feel like Ridge is stepping backward into what they view as a toxic relationship, but Thomas and Steffy will just have to live with Ridge’s choice.
The same goes for Taylor, but she’ll be free to move on with another love interest once she recovers from the loss!
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hint that Ridge may finally commit to Brooke and leave Taylor the official love triangle loser.
