The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) may offer a treasure hunt marriage proposal redo and prove his Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) commitment with a ring. Ridge may show he’s all in with an engagement and a blast-from-the-past strategy.
Of course, Ridge is currently married to Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), but that doesn’t mean much of anything now.
Since Ridge believes Brooke betrayed him by calling CPS and deceiving him, he’s ready for an honest new chapter with Taylor.
Ridge could perhaps propose to Taylor to seal the deal on his commitment to her, even while still married to Brooke.
Once Ridge gets his divorce in the works, that may be good enough for him to seek a more official status with Taylor.
There’s been a lot of talk about all the time that Taylor and Ridge have wasted, so Ridge may not want to waste anymore.
B&B has also been reminding fans of Ridge’s romantic treasure hunt proposal and the fun Taylor had when she found an engagement ring at the end.
Ridge may decide to take a page out of his own playbook and do something really special for Taylor. I
t’s easy to imagine Ridge orchestrating a little island redo with a fresh treasure hunt and some renewed promises.
Since Taylor needs to know Ridge is in this for the long haul, maybe this will be how he shows her that’s true.
Ridge might hope that popping the question – especially in a significant way that’s so tied to their history – will prove Taylor is the only woman for him.
Naturally, things are going to get complicated down the road.
Ridge is assuming the worst of Brooke based on what’s obviously a phoney recording, so he might feel differently once the whole truth comes out.
That’s especially true once Ridge realizes Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is to blame for setting Brooke up.
Ridge will have so much to mull over eventually, but he may focus on a treasure hunt in the meantime and give Taylor an engagement ring to ease her mind.
