The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Li Finnegan’s (Naomi Matsuda) feud will inevitably erupt over the John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) secret. This mother-in-law should’ve spilled the truth, so let’s talk about the hot B&B drama this will lead to.
For starters, we commend Li for being a fierce protector.
It’s amazing that Finn’s birth mother nearly took his life and now his adoptive mom has stepped up to save it.
Li has been working hard to nurse Finn back to health following the bullet Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) pumped in him.
Li refused to accept the decision of Finn’s doctor and went as far as smuggling him out of the hospital to save him.
That’s a dedicated rockstar of a mother, so we’re loving Finn’s willingness to help her son fight – and her refusal to give up hope!
Even so, there’s no reason Li should’ve left Steffy in the dark. What if the situation were reversed?
Imagine if Steffy had been the one to secretly save Finn and keep him stashed alive somewhere without Li’s knowledge.
Li would be absolutely livid with Steffy, wouldn’t she?
Steffy will have every right to be angry with Li when the whole truth comes out.
Of course, there’ll be a certain sense of gratitude as well. Without Li, Finn wouldn’t have had this chance to survive.
Steffy will no doubt be grateful for Li’s dedication, but that doesn’t mean she’ll say no biggie when it comes to the secret.
As Finn’s wife and the mother of his child, Steffy deserved the truth just as soon as she woke up.
Li has already been showing signs of contempt and lack of trust when it comes to Steffy along with her chaotic family.
Part of Li feels like if Finn hadn’t been dragged into Steffy’s world as a Forrester, then all of this could’ve been avoided.
Li’s concerns over Steffy and Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) bond are also going to be a factor here.
The show’s setting the stage for Steffy’s feud with Li to become the new mother-in-law battle.
Steffy already had one of those with psycho Sheila, but Li could find herself under attack next for hiding Finn’s survival.
Li may not be sorry for anything and could end up blaming Steffy for Finn’s near-death experience.
Regardless, Steffy and Li seem to have some hostility in their future, so we’ll bring you updates as other B&B info comes in.
