The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) could relapse as her addiction takes over. She might resume pill-popping to cope with losing John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
B&B fans know Steffy first developed her addiction due to pain following her motorcycle accident.
Now that Steffy’s been shot, there’s the potential for Steffy to once again score drugs – maybe to cope with the physical pain in some ways and the emotional pain in others.
Steffy expected to spend the rest of her days with Finn by her side. When they married, Finn and Steffy kicked off their forever journey together.
They thought they’d be building toward such a bright future, but the show suddenly decided to rip Steffy’s amazing life with Finn away.
Now Finn’s death is going to leave a massive void and could make Steffy tempted to fill it with painkillers.
Steffy might go off the rails and need another rehab stint as a result.
Of course, this could also serve as a way to bring Steffy and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) back together.
The writing’s on the wall for a “Steam” reunion sooner or later.
Liam might see the warning signs and do his part to make sure Steffy once again gets help for her addiction.
Liam could play the hero and get Steffy the assistance she needs.
Naturally, there are a lot of unanswered questions about how much Steffy will remember when she awakens and what’s ahead for guilty Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
Regardless, Finn is dead – and that means Steffy’s grief could affect her life and recovery in a big way.
