Thomas can’t be too pushy or he could drive Douglas even further away.
Maybe Thomas will sit down with Douglas and offer a heartfelt apology for dragging him into a mess of his own making.
Thomas may not have remorse when it comes to Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) pain, but he could at least acknowledge that it was wrong to ask Douglas to keep secrets.
Perhaps Thomas will promise to be a better father and hope Douglas can forgive him.
There’s bound to be some lingering tension, but Douglas is a good kid who loves his dad.
It’s hard to believe Douglas will hold a grudge forever, so an awkward reunion with Thomas could be the first step toward a fresh start.
Thomas will need to make some updates to his behavior and will be carefully monitored when it comes to the time he spends with Douglas moving forward.
Douglas will be Hope’s priority, so she’ll want to stay on guard as he potentially starts to reconnect with Thomas.
