The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Thursday, December 15 Recap – Taylor & Ridge Tell Ridge Goodbye, Walk Out Together

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, December 15, reveals Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) told Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) that he was sorry for his part in all this. Taylor and Brooke wondered if Ridge truly felt remorse, but Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) interrupted briefly before realizing his timing was bad.

Once Brooke and Taylor resumed the conversation, they made it clear that they weren’t there to listen to Ridge’s apologies.

Instead, Ridge was going to listen to what they had to say since he’d put them through a lot.

Taylor and Brooke had been talking, so now they saw eye to eye on a few things. The two of them had been waiting on the same man for most of their adult lives.

Taylor apologized again for not coming clean before the wedding, but she admitted she was thrown off balance and wanted to believe all Ridge’s promises from Aspen.

After Taylor talked about their time together being magic, Brooke told Ridge that he was the love of her life.

Ridge was Taylor’s best friend and Brooke’s destiny, but they warned that he couldn’t have them both.

When Ridge said he knew he could only be with one of them, Taylor and Brooke indicated that he couldn’t.

Brooke complained about Ridge running off to Aspen and ultimately proposing to Taylor without ever opening up to her about his reasons.

Taylor also ranted about Ridge literally chasing her up a mountain and convincing her that things would be different this time.

Ridge promised to keep Taylor’s heart safe and choose her for always, but then he walked away after Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) objection.

If what Ridge had promised in Aspen had been the truth, Taylor said they would’ve gotten married regardless.

Instead, Ridge left Taylor’s heart shattered again, so she insisted that everything he’d done was wrong.

Brooke put a comforting hand on Taylor’s shoulder and embraced her before admitting Taylor was right.

In the design office, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) felt confident that Ridge would reunite with Brooke, but Steffy envisioned Ridge choosing Taylor and living blissfully with her at the beach house.

Since John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) ran into each other at the elevator, they joined Steffy and Hope’s tense conversation at the same time.

Finn took Steffy’s side while Liam took Hope’s, but they all managed to keep things civil.

After Finn suggested they just needed to wait it out, Liam acknowledged that Steffy and Hope both wanted what was best for their moms.

Hope assumed one woman would end up heartbroken before Steffy predicted Brooke’s disappointed meltdown.

When Charlie walked in, he offered updates on Ridge being in the CEO office with both Taylor and Brooke.

That news confused Steffy and Hope before they continued bickering about who Ridge would choose.

Although Hope thought Brooke needed Ridge, Steffy thought Taylor needed him instead.

However, B&B cut back to Brooke and Taylor agreeing that neither one of them needed Ridge.

Taylor and Brooke had been stuck in the same cycle for decades while Ridge was the lucky guy with two families and two women.

After Taylor said they were exhausted, Brooke declared that they deserved better than this.

Ridge agreed with that, so Brooke was glad since they’d made the decision to choose themselves.

Taylor confirmed that they were choosing dignity and self-respect before adding that they were done.

Brooke echoed that they were indeed done before they both said goodbye to Ridge. As Ridge stood there in despair, Taylor and Brooke walked out hand in hand.

Outside the office on Thursday’s B&B episode, Brooke and Taylor finally seemed free as they high-fived each other.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge will have to mull over what’s next, so stick with the CBS soap.
