The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Thursday, December 1 Recap – Brooke Chooses Self-Respect – Finn Stops Thomas’ Attack on Steffy

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, December 1, reveals that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) chose self-respect while John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) stopped Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) attack on Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

At Brooke’s place, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) insisted Thomas got what he wanted after he used that voice changer app.

Ridge had walked away from Brooke and turned to Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen).

Brooke recalled how Ridge told her to “just say it” and how she didn’t know what he was talking about.

If Ridge had just told Brooke he heard her voice, then they could’ve gotten to the bottom of it together.

Brooke was upset over Ridge not believing in her and wanted to know everything that happened.

Ridge recapped the story of CPS coming over right after Brooke had threatened to call them.

Ridge also talked about all the things he missed – like how he didn’t know Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) was being abused by Thomas in Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) house.

Brooke warned that Thomas needed serious professional help and added that she wasn’t just talking about Taylor. Ridge mentioned Douglas finding the recordings and playing them for Steffy, who stopped the wedding.

Brooke also found out that Taylor knew before the nuptials and didn’t tell Ridge the truth.

Ridge said Taylor swore she was going to tell him, so Brooke asked if Taylor was going to wait until she became Ridge’s wife!

Ridge insisted that he came over to apologize, but Brooke pointed out that he’d been sharing Taylor’s bed while she was heartbroken and alone.

Although Brooke knew Ridge was sorry and didn’t mean to hurt her, she was still trying to grapple with him choosing Taylor and throwing away their own marriage.

Brooke couldn’t open her heart to Ridge, so this back and forth had to stop.

After Brooke said Ridge had to be the one to stop it, she asked what he wanted to do with his life.

Brooke wondered if Ridge wanted to marry Taylor or if he still wanted a life with her.

No matter what Ridge decided, Brooke said she’d always love him. Ridge replied that he’d always love Brooke too and admitted he needed to take some time.

Brooke told Ridge that he’d always be everything to her, but there was something more important – and that was her self-respect.

It had really taken a beating over the years, but Brooke had come to like the woman in the mirror these days.

Brooke wouldn’t take anything less than she deserved and felt it was Ridge’s turn to figure out what he admired in himself.

Ridge had to figure out what he wanted out of life – and Brooke couldn’t do that for him. After Brooke hugged Ridge, he left as they both battled tough emotions.

At the Forrester mansion, Thomas and Steffy blamed each other for the derailed wedding, but Taylor urged them to stop since she couldn’t handle all the fighting.

Taylor picked up a framed photo of herself with Ridge and suggested that maybe Ridge would come back for their wedding after he made things right with Brooke.

Steffy ranted about Thomas’ actions and thought the saddest part was that he’d do it all over again if it meant getting his way.

After Steffy said she thought Thomas had changed, Taylor added that she thought he’d changed, too.

However, Taylor took responsibility for her delay in telling Ridge the truth.

Next, Finn joined them and mentioned that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) took the kids home.

Finn said Eric and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) assumed there wouldn’t be a wedding today, but Steffy noted they didn’t know that for sure.

Thomas lashed out at Steffy for blowing everything sky high, but Finn angrily warned Thomas not to attack Steffy over something he did.

When Thomas suggested that maybe he should go over to Brooke’s house, Taylor and Steffy simultaneously shut down that idea.

Steffy said Ridge needed time to process, so Thomas assumed that meant to decide if he was out of the company and out of the family.

Taylor argued that Ridge would never turn his back on Thomas, but she said there would be consequences.

Steffy ripped into Thomas once more, but he was done being bashed by her and fired back.

Finn ordered Thomas to stop talking to Steffy like that, but Thomas worried Taylor could lose Ridge forever because Steffy came clean.

At Il Giardino’s bar, Paul (Hollis W. Chambers) talked to Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) about how he’d become a regular and wondered if he was OK.

Bill said he needed a double, not a shrink.

After Bill suggested that growing and changing only got you kicked in the teeth, Paul asked if that’s why he’d been spending so much time there recently.

Bill didn’t see why he shouldn’t since he had nothing and no one to go home to.

Once Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) appeared, he taunted Bill about spending a lot of time there eating and drinking alone.

Deacon knew Bill had been sniffing around Brooke again and assumed he’d been rejected.

Since Deacon guessed Katie Logan (Heather Tom) didn’t want Bill either, he welcomed him to the lonely hearts’ club.

Bill simply scowled and took another swig of his drink.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Bill will form a sneaky plan to turn things around soon, so stay tuned!
