The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Thursday, January 27 Recap – Liam Fears Deacon’s Endgame – Hope Warns Dad

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, January 27, reveals that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) feared Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) endgame – and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) confronted her dad with a warning.

At the cabin on Thursday’s B&B episode, Liam wondered how Hope really felt about her parents kissing.

It was a lot for Hope to process – and she didn’t want anything to jeopardize Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) relationship.

However, Liam thought Hope was entitled to an opinion on what happened between Brooke and Deacon.

Hope admitted that if she were younger and the circumstances were different, maybe she’d be happy.

It wasn’t something Hope had even allowed herself to really think about.

Hope was more concerned about her mom, so Liam pointed out that Deacon still had a thing for Brooke.

Liam wondered if this was all Deacon’s endgame and acted like maybe Deacon had been working to get back in Brooke’s good graces this whole time.

Hope didn’t like that idea, but Liam said he wasn’t suggesting that Deacon was playing her.

Liam just wanted to point out that Deacon had the power to blow this whole thing up by telling Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).

Hope didn’t think Deacon would do that, but Liam remained concerned because of who Deacon was and what he typically did.

Hope shifted gears and reflected on Brooke being in a huge shame spiral. She didn’t know how to get Brooke out of it and kept mulling over why it all went wrong that night.

Liam felt like Deacon was more of a trigger than they all thought. He suggested Deacon wasn’t the best influence and wasn’t good to have around when it came to Brooke’s marriage.

Hope decided to pay Deacon a visit and find out how he was really feeling about what went down with Brooke.

At the main house, Ridge urged Brooke to put that night behind her. He argued that he knew every last detail and that it was all forgivable.

Ridge insisted Brooke was human and should just focus on the positive since she was back on track in her recovery.

At Il Giardino, Deacon couldn’t stop thinking about Brooke and his love profession. Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) showed up and commended Deacon on being able to hold down a job this long.

Sheila mentioned she’d been trying to reach Deacon and felt like he’d been keeping his distance because of Brooke.

Sheila looked at the nearby Champagne and thought back to her plan to destroy Brooke. She learned Deacon hadn’t been spending much time with Hope and her family, so she wondered where things went wrong since New Year’s Eve went so well.

Deacon blamed work for keeping him busy and snapped at Sheila, who asked if he woke up on the wrong side of the cot.

Sheila invited Deacon to come stay with her at the hotel again and admitted to missing their chats.

Sheila acted like she had Deacon’s best interests at heart and knew he was still head over heels about Brooke.

Shelia thought Deacon should be camped out at Brooke’s house playing her favorite love song and called Deacon out for having tears in his eyes.

Sheila said Deacon had it bad for Brooke and thought it was strange that he wasn’t really talking to Hope now.

Sheila was jealous over Deacon’s access to his daughter and complained about Brooke trying to keep her from John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) as well as Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Piper Harriot).

Deacon warned Sheila not to lash out at Brooke since she was dealing with enough. Sheila wondered what exactly Brooke was dealing with, but Hope showed up nearby.

That led to Deacon pushing Sheila to leave, but she wound up hanging around and hiding out behind a menu.

Hope approached Deacon by the bar, so they acknowledged that they missed each other.

After some small talk about the kids, Hope confessed that she knew what happened on New Year’s Eve.

Hope needed to know that Deacon in no way encouraged Brooke’s drinking.

Deacon argued that he helped Brooke get sober once upon a time – though he knew it was a mistake to drink with her recently.

Hope wasn’t there to blame or point fingers, but she was confused about what went down.

Hope knew Brooke was drinking nonalcoholic Champagne and that her mom was upset over Ridge not showing up, but she didn’t think that was enough to derail Brooke’s sobriety.

Hope mentioned the kiss and wondered “what the hell” Deacon was thinking, so he insisted they were drunk and caught up in the moment.

It was just something that happened according to Deacon.

As for Deacon spending the night, he argued that he couldn’t leave Brooke like that and was in no shape to drive himself.

Deacon reminded Hope that he merely slept on top of the bed – and they were both wearing clothes.

Hope pointed out that Brooke was terrified she was going to lose Ridge, especially given how he felt about Deacon.

Hope added that Brooke was in a fragile state and was quite vulnerable, so she came there to make sure Deacon didn’t try to exploit that or undermine Brooke’s marriage.

After Hope said Ridge and Brooke’s future was in Deacon’s hands, she asked what her dad was going to do.

Meanwhile, Sheila struggled to eavesdrop while spying nearby, but she didn’t seem like she could hear anything in the loud restaurant.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Sheila won’t give up until she knows the whole truth, so stay tuned for more snooping!
