The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Tuesday, January 18, teases that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) will battle a torn heart while Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) decides to make a daring move to help Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) wife.
B&B fans know Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) is convinced something more than booze fueled his New Year’s Eve kiss with Brooke.
Deacon feels like there’s some unstoppable force pushing them together, but Brooke refused to listen to all that talk about connection and chemistry.
However, Brooke will end up deep in thought over that fateful night.
Brooke will be haunted by it in Tuesday’s episode, so we have to wonder if that’s solely because of her guilt.
Is there part of Brooke that feels the same way as Deacon, even if she’s not willing to admit it to herself or anyone else?
Deacon may be right about the magnetic pull between them, so Brooke could be even more troubled if she lets herself consider that.
Brooke’s heart will be conflicted in other ways as well since Ridge keeps praising her honesty.
Ridge acts like he’s so impressed with the way Brooke came forward with the truth, but she didn’t tell the whole story!
Part of Brooke would love to completely unburden herself, but another part of her knows that can never happen.
Brooke is too terrified of losing Ridge forever, so she’ll keep bottling up all her emotions and leave Ridge in the dark.
As if Brooke didn’t have enough on her mind, she’ll have to worry about Taylor’s visit next.
Taylor will make a friendly gesture when she pops over and reveals she’s available to talk. Whether Brooke wants to do that as pals or let the doc help her professionally, Taylor will be fine to listen either way.
Naturally, Brooke will turn Taylor down and make it clear that won’t be necessary.
Perhaps Brooke will act like her marriage is completely solid and push Taylor to just focus on rebuilding her practice as well as spending time with her own family.
The problem is that family includes Ridge – and Taylor will definitely be concerned about how Brooke’s issues might affect him.
If Taylor brings up Deacon’s name, that could leave Brooke even more on edge and defensive.
Brooke will want to send Taylor home before this visit turns into an interrogation that could trip her up!
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Brooke will hold out hope for a bright future with Ridge, but that hope will grow dimmer as time goes on!
