The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Wednesday, May 18, tease that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) will clash over Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) future. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will also step back from Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) while he decides his romantic fate, so here’s what viewers can look forward to.
At the cabin, Bill has already been trashing Ridge for running off to Taylor instead of having sympathy for his alcoholic wife.
Since Bill doesn’t think Brooke’s betrayal was a big deal, he’s been dragging Ridge’s name through the mud over his self-righteousness and ping-ponging.
Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) have been listening to Bill’s tirade, but B&B spoilers say Hope will get an earful eventually.
It sounds like Hope will come home from her girls’ night and hear Bill talk about Ridge waffling back to Taylor.
Of course, Hope will inevitably defend Brooke’s marriage to Ridge and argue that they’re going to work it out sooner or later.
Bill feels like Brooke should’ve kicked Ridge to the curb a long time ago, but Hope knows her mom struggles away from her husband.
Since Brooke would be happy with her marriage restored, that’s what Hope will continue to want for her.
Nevertheless, Bill may manage to plant some doubts in Hope’s mind about Ridge’s loyalty and whether a reunion will stick – if one even happens.
At Brooke’s place, she’ll once again wonder if the news about Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) sabotage means Ridge has come home to her.
Brooke is more than ready to rebuild their life together if Ridge will just get on board.
After hearing Brooke’s plea, Ridge will agree to meet her halfway.
Although Ridge’s homecoming won’t happen just yet, he’ll plan to move in one of Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) spare rooms or the Forrester guesthouse.
That means Ridge will have to tell Taylor that he’s moving out of the guest house on Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) property.
Ridge will realize he needs to take a step back from Taylor while he decides what his romantic future holds.
