The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Wednesday, May 18, teases that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will lose a houseguest after Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) bargains with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) for a fresh start.
At the cabin, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) will keep trashing Ridge for running back to Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) instead of standing by his own wife.
From where Bill’s standing, Brooke stands no chance of ever being truly happy with Ridge – at least not for very long.
Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) is set to return home according to B&B spoilers, so it seems she’ll have a chance to speak her mind.
Once Hope comes back and finds Bill dooming “Bridge,” she may argue love will prevail since Brooke considers Ridge her destiny.
Regardless, Bill’s going to continue all his grumbling about disloyal Ridge, so Hope, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) will all have to endure it.
In the meantime, Brooke will plead with Ridge to see that they belong together and that they’d still be a united couple without Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) intervention.
Since Ridge is still hurt over Brooke’s betrayal and the way she defended Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), he won’t be in a rush to move back in.
Nevertheless, Ridge will see the potential for a new beginning with Brooke.
It’s just tough since Ridge has deep feelings for Taylor as well – and that means he really needs to do some soul-searching alone.
As part of that plan, Ridge will decide to move out of Steffy’s guesthouse and stay on the main Forrester property for a while.
That’ll give Ridge an opportunity to mull over his love for both Brooke and Taylor.
This isn’t exactly the decision Brooke was hoping for, but she’ll be pleased over the distance Ridge is creating with his other former flame.
Brooke fears Taylor could sink her hooks into Ridge the longer he sticks around, so she’ll hope this is just the first step toward Ridge moving home.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge will reach a verdict on his living arrangements and head over to give Taylor the big news soon enough.
