The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap review for the week of December 19-23 reveals that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) is showing some troubling warning signs when it comes to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
B&B fans were hopeful about Brooke standing her ground – at least for a while.
Most of us didn’t expect Brooke to stay strong against temptation forever, but she should’ve lasted longer than this!
Brooke and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) previously lectured Ridge about everything he’d done wrong and walked out on him together.
Now Brooke is already drifting back in Ridge’s direction based on what happened at the Forrester holiday gathering.
Ridge entered in slow motion and locked eyes with Brooke in a tender moment. That’s the next phase of a love story if we’ve ever seen one.
It didn’t help that Pam Douglas (Alley Mills) and Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) were such persistent matchmakers.
Charlie used his fishing rod to dangle some mistletoe, but Brooke was the one who made the decision to kiss Ridge.
If B&B wanted to portray Brooke as a strong woman, she would’ve made Ridge kiss her cheek or even forced him to settle for a hug.
Instead, they made it seem like a magical Christmas kiss and a sign of things to come.
Brooke is proving she’s weak for Ridge, so their reunion story is already underway.
Meanwhile, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) also had a chance to play the hero for Katie Logan (Heather Tom) when he supported her as she faced her cardiology test results.
Of course, it was a little weird for Carter to be so pushy and cross boundaries. Who just barges in someone’s private medical appointment like that?
However, Katie seemed to think it was romantic and that’s all that matters.
Those scenes helped Katie learn to trust Carter with her heart and built a solid foundation for them as a couple.
Now that Katie knows her heart is doing just fine, she intends to live her life to the fullest – and that includes focusing on a bright future with Carter.
Katie’s going to make some updates to her pursuit of happiness and allow Carter to be a bigger part of her world.
