Tonight on NBC their new medical drama “The Good Doctor” airs with an all-new Monday, April 4, 2022, episode and we have you The Good Doctor recap below. Lim, Murphy, and Wolke help a teenage “biohacker” whose self- experiments begin to compromise his health, Drs. Morgan, Park, Jordan, and Glassman treat a young woman who wants a controversial surgery to treat her depression and chronic pain. Additionally, Dr. Reznick looks to take the next step in her relationship with Dr. Park.”

Tonight’s The Good Doctor episode begins with Lea and Jordan looking at photos on her phone and planning on an evening out.
Morgan tells Alex that it is time to ditch the bachelor pad, and she invites him to move in with her.
Asher is examining a patient, Trent, who has a severe infection in his index finger. He installed a magnet in his finger – it’s body art. Shaun walks in and he calls it biohacking. This is not the first time that Trent has done this.
Morgan is examining her patient, Keila, diagnosed with depression and pain from a neck injury six years ago. She can’t work, can’t get out of bed, and can’t think. Morgan calls in Aaron to consult. Morgan tells him that she is desperate for real relief from her pain. He agrees to talk about it if he sees her full history. Morgan wants to perform a cingulotomy, they are effective in 60% of Keila’s symptoms. Alex is there, he tells Morgan that once this is done it can’t be reversed. Jordan is also there, she is worried that Keila can fall into the 40% where it is not an effective surgery. But in the end, Aaron agrees to the surgery.
Shaun and Asher tell Trent and his mother that they might have to amputate the finger because of the infection. Shaun says they have to remove the infected implant. Leaving the other implants inside, Trent will still be at risk. Trent says he is out of there, gets out of bed, and then passes out. Shaun says this is much easier than chasing him.
Aaron is in surgery with Keila, Marcus comes in with Justin, he has full authority over his sister’s medical treatment and he will not allow the surgery.
Keila made a lot of money from a business that she created but she let the money and addiction go to her head. After some DUI the judge gave Justin conservatorship. Justin goes in to see Keila when she is awake, and they argue. Morgan speaks to Justin and tells him that his sister is in a lot of pain. Morgan wants to show him a scan so that he sees what is going on with Keila’s brain, and he agrees.
Shaun is in to see Trent, the surgery went well, and he is optimistic.
Alex and Morgan are taking the scan of Keila’s brain, they are talking about apartment hunting and he doesn’t like any that she sent him. All of a sudden, Keila is moving around, she is in pain, they run out to check on her and she says it hurts everywhere, very bad.
The next morning, Keila is still in pain, Morgan puts her on Gabapentin. Morgan asks Alex if he really wants to move in with her because he can’t make up his mind about an apartment.
Morgan tells Aaron that Justin will not waver, especially now that Keila’s had another episode and is in a lot of pain.
Shaun tells Trent what he could do to his body long-term by putting the magnets inside of himself.
Kiela and Justin get into an argument about his having control over her life. She is very angry, gets up and knocks over the IV pole, and hit Justin requiring stitches. While Morgan is stitching him up, she tries to give him some advice.
Trent has problems with his wrist, Shaun thinks he can fix it with an experimental device but his mother won’t allow it after Asher says if Trent continues to put implants inside his body can reject the device.
Jordan is spending time with Lea at her apartment with Shaun and he is having problems with it he wants Jordan to follow the house rules. Jordan says they can find another place.
Jordan goes in to see Keila, she tells him that she knows that he is just trying to protect her. He tells her that he is so scared that he can lose her. She tells her that she wants peace, and happiness, before the pain. She begs him to let her have this chance at getting rid of the pain. He says ok.
Alex tells Morgan that it’s the money, and his credit is a mess. She tells him that she’s got him. She tells him this is not about the real world, this is about his pride.
Shaun has Trent’s prescriptions and referrals. When Shaun hears the go at each other he tells them what they are doing to each other and the two finally talk it out. Trent’s mother agrees to the surgery.
Keila has her surgery, it is a success. Her brother tells her that they need to see a judge, it is time that he was just her brother.
Trent’s wrist is fixed, and the prognosis is good.
Alex apologizes to Morgan, she tells him that she found them a home.
