In tonight’s The Resident episode, AJ and Conrad are working out in the park when AJ sees on social media the comments being made about Billie being the new Chief. Billie arrives at the hospital to see the bad media. The board immersed meets to discuss Billie. Kit defends her as well as Conrad’s dad. The board votes to ask Billie to take a leave.
A window washer almost meets her death outside of an office building. The string almost break. She hangs like a dummy. Someone yells for help. She arrives at the ER as the staff discusses their nursing shortage. They get her into a room.
Billie meets with Bell and Kit. They discuss what they can do. Meanwhile, Conrad and the team tries to help the window washer who needs blood. Conrad takes a break and meets with Billie. He will support her through this all. He knows this is revenge for her past.
AJ and Conrad see Kit in the OR. Their window washer has a spinal compression injury. They discuss the board and Billie with Kit. She knows they have challenges ahead. Across the hospital, Billie discusses what is happening with her son.
Bell talks to Jessica about nurse shortages. He is going to work on the staffing. Jessica admits she is going to look into being a travel nurse which is why they have the shortage. He is upset. Meanwhile, Billie sees a number of operations canceled because of her reputation.
Bell has to scrub in as an OR nurse for a surgery as the hospital doesn’t have enough nurses. Meanwhile, Billie goes to meet the man who is trying to ruin her career. He threatens her further.
Jessica meets with a recruiter. The pay is a lot more than she is making. She would have to relocate. She has a lot to think about. Back at Chastain, Conrad discovers his patient may have head trauma.
Trevor tells AJ that Billie filed a complaint against a doctor with the state board years ago. He has been looking through all of this and it has something to do with who his dad really is. AJ lectures him on boundaries. But he cannot lie to Trevor. Billie was raped when she was 13 and now Trevor knows. AJ consoles him but he runs off.
Billie arrives at the OR to help repair the window washer with trauma. The staff welcomes her back. She runs the operation like a boss. Meanwhile, Bell and Jessica meet about her job. He is glad she is staying.
Trevor shows up at Billie’s hearing to share who he is and what happened to his mom. Jessica shares the good news with Irving. Leela asks her sister for an ovary so she can have a baby. Just then Devon comes home.
Conrad meets Bilie after the hearing. He doesn’t want her to be alone. She’s happy to hear this after talking to Trevor who needs time away to digest all of this.
