The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) may fight against Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) job at Chancellor-Winters. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) could blow up over Billy’s interference as their relationship continues to nosedive.
Although Lily is sympathetic to Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) situation, she understandably doesn’t want to share Billy all the time.
Now that the worst part of Chelsea’s mental health battle is over, Lily would like to see Billy take a step back from all the support he’s offering.
However, Billy will continue to help Chelsea in any way he can, even if that means making sacrifices.
Lily hasn’t been happy over Billy’s behavior lately, so she’s not going to approve of his continued obsession.
Billy decided to leave Chancellor-Winters for other pursuits recently, but he may still be part of an upcoming meeting.
Daniel hinted about an idea he wanted to run by both Billy and Lily, so we’ll see what this big pitch is all about.
Regardless, Y&R spoilers say Daniel will envision an opportunity for a lucrative collaboration.
Lily may like what she hears when it comes to Daniel joining her team at Chancellor-Winters.
This could eventually lead to Daniel taking over for Billy as COO, but Billy may try to intervene and set Lily off.
Daniel’s pitch may not be a good one as far as Billy’s concerned.
Billy made the choice to walk away from Chancellor-Winters, but he may rethink that decision when Daniel’s so close and clearly still attracted to Lily.
In other words, Billy may find that he can dish it out, but he can’t take it when it comes to former flames and stirring up jealousy.
Although it’s apparently fine for Billy to get close to Chelsea as his own ex, he may not feel the same way once Lily and Daniel are bonding at work.
Whatever the case, Daniel will deliver his game-changer proposal at Chancellor-Winters and perhaps impress Lily in the process.
Billy may make excuses for why Daniel’s plan is a bad idea instead and cause some additional drama.
It’s easy to imagine Lily telling Billy that it’s not his call to make, especially now that he’s moving on from Chancellor-Winters.
Billy and Lily may have another reason to clash once Daniel’s firmly planted back in Lily’s world through a job.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Daniel will plant some roots in Genoa City again and become a bigger part of the action.
