The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will force Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to blow up Johnny Abbott’s (Paxton Mishkind) world, so her son will finally face the bio mom bomb.
Chelsea has latched onto the idea that Johnny should know the truth about his birth mother as soon as possible. If all goes well, Chelsea would like to form a bond with Johnny – and she’d especially like for Johnny to bond with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) as his half-brother.
Johnny and Connor already get along as cousins, but Chelsea sees the potential for them to develop a deeper connection. It’s clear that Chelsea is desperate to build a little family unit, so her patience will run out quickly.
Now that Connor has had some time to process Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) death and move on, Chelsea will think he’s ready for this curveball. Although Victoria has always intended to tell Connor the whole story eventually, that day will come sooner than she wanted.
During the week of September 19-23, Y&R spoilers say Chelsea will back Victoria into a corner. Victoria will have no choice but to do something, so it sounds like Chelsea will force the biological mother shocker.
Maybe Chelsea will mention something in front of Johnny that sparks his curiosity. It could leave Johnny pushing Victoria to tell him what’s so important and set the stage for this confession.
However, there are so many ways this could end in disaster. If Chelsea is expecting Johnny to run into her arms and feel instantly linked to her, that’s probably not going to happen.
Johnny honestly seemed a little weirded out by Chelsea’s hovering the last time they talked at the pool. When Chelsea is ready to bombard Johnny with love as his bio mom, things could get even more awkward.
Even though Victoria and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) never planned for this to be some massive secret, it’ll still be a strange, world-shifting revelation for Johnny. This could lead to some behavioral issues if Johnny gets angry or just doesn’t know how to process the revelation.
There’s also Connor to consider since he may not react like Chelsea is hoping either. Connor and Johnny could start feuding and make all of this complicated, so Chelsea may create quite a mess with all her pressure.
