The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) may have some sizzling Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) dreams, so will her hot fantasy be the first step toward stealing Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) man?
Y&R fans know that Chelsea couldn’t stop Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) from invading her dreams, so that led to some forbidden kisses with Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) husband – at least in Chelsea’s own mind.
Now that Rey is dead and gone, the writers are giving Chelsea another guy to interact with.
Although Chelsea’s history with Billy is complicated, they were engaged once upon a time.
Chelsea recently gave brutally honest feedback on Billy’s podcast, so he was ultimately reminded of how well she used to know him.
It seems like something’s brewing between Billy and Chelsea again, so it’s reasonable to think Chelsea might dream of her ex next.
Perhaps Chelsea will imagine some steamy kisses or even more.
Sparks could fly while Chelsea’s sleeping and catch her off guard – just like what happened with Rey.
It makes sense considering this is sort of a replacement storyline for Chelsea anyway.
Chelsea and Rey were on the road to romance until Jordi Vilasuso was abruptly cut from the show.
Now Billy appears to be taking Rey’s place as a man who’s in a committed relationship.
Rey was married to Sharon, but there were problems with her former flame, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), that could’ve paved the way to trouble.
Similarly, Billy likes to pretend everything’s fine with Lily, but he remains obsessed with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and his constant need to protect her.
It’s easy to see how Chelsea can slide right in as another complication here.
Maybe Lily is worried about the wrong ex since Billy could wind up drifting back in Chelsea’s direction instead.
If Chelsea has some hot dreams about Billy, those could set the stage for her chasing after him in reality.
Chelsea tends to fixate on the men in her life – and Billy has now reentered the picture for her.
