The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, December 9, tease that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will decide on a big change while Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) takes a bold step. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will also expose Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) hidden agenda – or at least the fact that has one!
At Jabot, Jack will shut down Jeremy’s attempt to harass Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and will threaten to call security on him.
Although Jack will plan to have Jeremy escorted out of the building, Jeremy will insist he’s still got some unfinished business with Diane.
Jack will assume this is about the money Diane owes, so he’ll offer to pay whatever Jeremy wants.
Diane previously protested to the idea of Jack paying Jeremy off, but he won’t care at this point and will just want rid of the threat.
However, it’ll eventually become clear to Jack this is about more than just money.
Jack will think Jeremy is bluffing somehow, so he may not believe he’ll actually leave town once he’s paid.
Despite Jeremy’s claims that this is solely about the missing cash, there’s more to the story – and that mystery is sure to unravel soon enough.
Of course, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) admitted he was hoping Jeremy would be lured to Genoa City.
Since Tucker wants to use Jeremy to his advantage, that could give this risky criminal a reason to stick around.
That could also be why Tucker is forced to defend himself on Friday’s action-packed episode.
Tucker will meet with Ashley for lunch and perhaps explain why he thinks Jeremy could be of great use to him.
Other Y&R spoilers insist Diane will pack her suitcases, so Jack may have to talk her down off the ledge.
No matter how scary things get, Jack will push Diane to keep her promise not to abandon her family and choose to trust him.
Over with Nate, he’ll change his mind about something, so that could involve Elena Dawson’s (Brytni Sarpy) podcast, the Los Angeles trip or both.
Elena may find herself feeling shut out if Nate drops the romantic getaway or perhaps decides moving her podcast back to Newman Media is a bad idea.
Whatever the case, there’s a good chance Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) opinion will influence Nate’s sudden turnaround.
That could irritate Elena and stir up more problems in her fragile relationship with Nate.
As for Chance, he’ll decide to get bold about something.
It’s hard to imagine Chance being ready to kiss Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) or anything like that just yet, but he’ll indeed make a daring move.
Since Chance is certain this split from Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) is the right call, he may move forward with the divorce and make sure Abby’s served with all the necessary paperwork.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby may face a crushing blow thanks to Chance’s bold step, so stay tuned!
