The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Thursday, December 8 Recap – Summer Accuses Gold Digger Sally – Jeremy Demands Diane's Cash

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, December 8, teases that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will accuse gold digger Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) while Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) demands cash from Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).

At Society, Sally will bump into Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), who’ll still be working through some things when it comes to their potential romance.

That said, Nick will admit he wouldn’t mind some company while he eats his pancakes.

Once Nick and Sally find a table, Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will grow curious about their bond and worry to Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) about Sally’s intentions.

Nearby, Sally will assure Nick that she can handle scrutiny and will know Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) guys have been digging up shady stuff in her past.

Although Sally learned from all her mistakes, she’ll be willing to revisit them and talk through anything Nick wants since he’s worth it.

When Summer catches the two of them together, she’ll push to speak with Nick alone.

Summer will insist Sally is using Nick and will point out how she jumped from one rich Newman to another.

Nick will defend Sally since she turned down his investment money and will note that Summer has a shady past of her own.

Although Summer won’t be on board with Nick and Sally’s connection, he’ll make it clear that he gets to make his own decisions.

As for Sally, she’ll acknowledge that she previously made some bad decisions and will clear the air with Lauren.

Sally will also tell Lauren that she’s ready to move on from fashion and try something new.

When Michael gets an urgent text from Victor, he’ll admit the message says lives could be at risk. That’ll leave Lauren fearful she warns Michael to be careful.

Once Sally reconvenes with Nick, he’ll let her know that he was direct with Summer and told her they were figuring things out.

If anything does happen between them, Nick will insist he’ll be the one to decide who he dates.

At the Abbott house, Diane will be up and ready to leave early since she won’t want anyone getting the wrong impression.

Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will fume when she realizes Jack asked Diane to stay the night.

After Diane leaves, Ashley will wonder if Diane used Jeremy’s arrival to get in Jack’s bed.

Jack won’t think that’s any of Ashley’s business and will be much more interested in whether she had anything to do with Jeremy showing up.

Ashley will deny knowing Jeremy was even in town, but Kyle will appear and rant that he’s indeed in Genoa City.

After Kyle talks about confronting Jeremy at The Grand Phoenix, Jack will realize that’s where Diane is staying and will arrange security.

In a moment alone, Kyle will rip into Ashley for putting his entire family in danger and will wonder if this makes her happy.

Ashley will assure Kyle that she wasn’t personally involved, but he’ll remain furious and ready to hold Diane’s takedown team accountable.

Next on Thursday’s Y&R episode, Ashley will get a text from Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) asking if she’ll meet for lunch, so she’ll send back a message to confirm she’s in.

At Crimson Lights, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be on edge when Jeremy appears.

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will find out Jeremy just got out of prison and is connected to Diane.

That’ll leave Victoria asking if Nikki’s responsible for bringing a criminal to town, but Nikki will drag her daughter back to the office so they can speak privately.

Nikki will confess they just wanted to use scare tactics on Diane, but then Phyllis took matters into her own hands.

When Victor shows up, he’ll advise Nikki to cut ties with Phyllis and Ashley when it comes to this Jeremy mess.

Victor will also reveal that he’s assigned security to Nikki, Ashley, Summer and Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez).

Phyllis and the rest of the Abbotts will be able to take care of themselves as far as Victor’s concerned.

Victor will reiterate that Nikki has to end her involvement now, but he’ll vow to keep their family safe.

Once Victor meets up with Michael, he’ll insist he needs to know everything about Jeremy Stark.

At Jabot, Diane will find Phyllis waiting to clear some things up with Jack.

After Diane gloats about spending the night at the Abbott house, Phyllis will assume Diane wasn’t in Jack’s bed since she’d be rubbing that in.

Diane will admit she stayed in a guest room, but she’ll also point out that Phyllis is only making her bond with Jack stronger.

Phyllis will be quick to remind Diane that bond isn’t unbreakable.

When Jeremy arrives, Diane will immediately get nervous.

Jeremy will ask if Phyllis is a friend of hers, but Diane will suggest Phyllis is a friend of his and will accuse her of being the one to contact him.

After Jeremy says Phyllis’ voice sounds familiar, she’ll play dumb and leave Diane to deal with him alone.

In Jack’s office, Jeremy will point out that he heard Diane was instrumental in his arrest. Diane will deny it and suggest Jeremy got played, but he won’t think so.

Once Diane threatens to call security, Jeremy will act like he’s not some violent criminal who wants to hurt her.

However, Jeremy will indeed want his money since the rest of his millions were taken away before he landed in prison.

Diane was in possession of Jeremy’s last shipment of cash, which wasn’t confiscated and didn’t make it to the islands.

Jeremy will assure Diane that if he gets his money so he can start over, she’ll never have to see him again.

Diane will insist she can’t give Jeremy the cash since she already used it to rebuild her life.

Jeremy will argue that’s not his problem and point out that Diane owes him.

When Jack walks in, he’ll look worried as he spots Jeremy bickering with Diane.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack will rush to Diane’s defense soon enough, so stay tuned!
