The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Friday, February 25 Recap – Ashland's Power Grab – Jack’s Heartbreaking Discovery

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, February 25, reveals that Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) will cave to Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) power grab while Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) makes a heartbreaking discovery.

First, we should note that the Y&R episode originally meant to air on Thursday, February 24, will now air on Friday, February 25.

The recent preemption led to this schedule change, but we’re here to clear things up! Here’s what viewers will now see in Friday’s drama-filled show.

At the Abbott mansion, Jack will check out Keemo Nguyen’s (last played by Philip Moon) old emails before Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) arrives.

They’ll team up to investigate names and other info online, but devastation will follow.

Once Jack stumbles upon an obituary, Phyllis will find Keemo’s picture on a memorial website.

Jack will be overwhelmed by his emotions as he realizes Keemo is dead, so he’ll never have a chance to make peace with his son.

After Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) lectures Victoria about the importance of making Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) feel welcome, he’ll make a major admission to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).

Nikki will find out that a doctor formally employed by the Peruvian clinic went on record for Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc).

Victor will admit that according to the doc’s interview video, he was paid a substantial sum to falsify Ashland’s medical information.

Once Nikki learns Ashland never had cancer, she’ll struggle to take this Peruvian doctor at his word.

Victor will have confidence since Michael seems certain of the story.

Nevertheless, Victor will tell Nikki that the investigation is still underway and will vow to be careful due to what’s at stake for Victoria.

Next, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will worry about Adam going “radio silent” on her.

Sally will sense that he might be having second thoughts about the advice she offered, but Adam will promise Sally made the right call and should always trust her instincts.

Although Adam will agree with everything Sally said about Victor, he’ll also know he needs to change his strategy.

Adam won’t want to be viewed as reckless by walking away from Newman Media, so he’ll opt to stay on board and spy on Ashland for himself rather than his father.

Adam will go to Victor with an apology and a confession about how he was trying to make a point.

When the topic of Ashland spy work comes up, Victor will suggest it’s no longer necessary due to a new discovery.

Victor will confirm that Adam’s on his side and will hint about how chaotic things are about to get.

Meanwhile, there’ll be a mini celebration over some positive Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) updates.

Dominic’s recovery will be going well, so Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will praise Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Orway) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) for coming together as parents.

Later, Nate will meet up with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) at Crimson Lights.

In a moment with Devon and Amanda on the patio, Nate will shock them with the news about trading a career in medicine for one in the business arena.

That’ll lead to a conversation about Nate’s unlikely friendship with Ashland and how he talked Nate into making a big change.

Speaking of big changes, Ashland will want to make more of them at Newman-Locke.

Ashland will face Victoria’s questions about an angry phone call, but he’ll act like lack of respect is part of the problem.

Ashland will think a title change is in order and will insist it matters in terms of rebuilding his reputation.

Although Victoria will fret over Ashland pushing himself too hard and perhaps having a setback, Ashland will argue that he doesn’t think he’s miraculously cured.

Instead, Ashland will sell this as a way to live life to the fullest and live the dream he dreamed with Victoria.

Ashland will want to take advantage of how good he’s feeling by becoming Co-CEO and running Newman-Locke alongside his wife.

Victoria will confess how Victor’s been trying to plant doubts and make her see Ashland as a threat, but she’ll refuse to view her husband that way.

In the end, Victoria will cave and assure Ashland that they’ll draw up the paperwork right away for him to become her co-CEO.

At the Chancellor mansion, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will bring some therapist names at Chance’s request.

Chance will call Sharon’s top recommendation immediately to set up an appointment, so Abby will embrace her husband and appreciate him getting help.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chance’s first therapy session is indeed coming up, so Y&R fans will want to stay tuned.
