The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, July 22, tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will find the aftermath of Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) home invasion while Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) have a drink together as they collaborate.
At Society, Chelsea will be brimming with exciting ideas for the podcast she now co-hosts with Billy.
Although Billy may be on the fence about some of Chelsea’s suggestions, she’s got a knack for talking him into whatever she’s selling.
There’s no denying that Chelsea and Billy play well off each other, so they’ll hope they’ve found a winning formula.
Billy and Chelsea will chat at the bar, so they’ll throw back some drinks and grow even more comfortable with the vibe they’ve developed.
At some point on Friday’s Y&R episode, Billy will also run into Nick and voice concern for Victoria now that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) is out on bail.
Nick will basically urge Billy to mind his own business, but he’ll be just as worried – especially after Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) warning about Ashland being out for blood.
The fear that Ashland might plot some sneak attack will leave Nick eager to check on Victoria at home.
Victoria is an abuse victim – not to mention she got stabbed accidentally by Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes).
You’d think Victoria would take the threat of violence a little more seriously, but she’ll stubbornly stay in her own home instead of on the ranch.
That’ll give Ashland a chance to pop up without warning outside the French doors.
Victoria will vow to call the police if Ashland doesn’t leave, so he’ll act like he’s not a threat initially.
However, Ashland will grow increasingly menacing and remind Victoria that he has nothing left to lose – mostly thanks to her.
After Nick shows up, he’ll ring the bell and call out to Victoria, but he won’t hear anything.
Nick will start to leave, but the fact that the lights are on inside the house will be a little odd.
Although Nick will consider the possibility that Victoria dozed off, he’ll decide to investigate just in case.
That’ll lead Nick through the backdoor where he’s sure to find a shocker once he’s inside!
Could Ashland’s dead body be there – or could he resort to snatching Victoria right out of her own house?
Time will tell, but things are about to take a troubling turn.
