The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Friday, March 25 Recap – Sally & Adam Exploit Victoria’s Downfall – Ashland Rejects Deal

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, March 25, reveals that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will exploit Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) downfall – and Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) will reject the deal Adam offers him.

At Newman Media, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be glad Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has his people watching over Victoria right now.

Victor will have it on good authority that Victoria spent the night in a hotel.

Nick will worry about the possibility of Victoria confronting Ashland and will wish they could just drive Ashland out of town.

However, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will act like maybe a confrontation is what Victoria needs for closure.

Nikki will also feel like Ashland has to leave on his own volition or else he’ll just come back stronger than ever.

Nick will worry that Victoria might take Ashland back, but Nikki won’t want to believe that’s true.

Even so, Nick will think they need a contingency plan just in case.

Victor will admit he had doubts about Ashland from the get-go, but he left things alone since Victoria was happy.

Although Victor will want to make Victoria’s pain go away, he’ll think they have to let her work through this on her own.

Once the Victoria drama is squared away, Victor will suggest they can focus on how to sever all Ashland’s ties to Newman Enterprises.

Nick won’t think that’s going to be easy since gaining control of the company was Ashland’s main objective all along.

At Society on Friday’s Y&R episode, Adam will walk in with Sally and spot Ashland nearby.

Adam will tell Sally that things blew up in a big way, but he’ll choose to see this as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

While Sally grabs a table, Adam will saunter over to offer Ashland a deal.

Adam will push Ashland to make a clean break by walking away from Victoria and Newman-Locke.

In return, Adam will suggest that Newman Media won’t publish article after article on Ashland’s cruel cancer lie.

Adam’ll play up how bad it would be – particularly for Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez).

Although Adam will act impressed by Ashland’s masterful level of deception, he’ll insist he has to protect his family.

Ashland will then argue that this isn’t over and will refuse to give up on Victoria.

Adam will contend that Ashland is a lot of things, but not delusional!

Adam will point out that the clock is ticking on this offer, but Ashland will simply urge Adam to never bring up Harrison again and stomp off.

As for Sally, she’ll watch the tense interaction nearby until Adam returns and explains.

Adam will admit Ashland’s cancer was a lie, so Sally will realize this was about gaining control of Newman Enterprises.

Adam will think he rattled Ashland with the thought of Harrison finding out the truth. He’ll just wonder how Locke is going to play this.

Adam will hope that when the dust settles, Victor will realize Victoria put his legacy and everything he built in jeopardy.

Sally will agree that doesn’t bode well for Victoria’s future and will think Victor is going to need someone he trusts in charge.

Adam will wonder if they’re the worst for plotting to take advantage of Victoria’s downfall, but Sally will insist this necessary conversation is logical and practical.

Sally will think somebody has to keep their eye on the ball.

Sally will argue that the two of them will make themselves invaluable, irreplaceable and unforgettable while the rest of the Newmans are coddling Victoria.

Sally will think they can show everyone who really belongs in the driver’s seat.

Adam will smile and admit Sally is exactly what he’s always needed, so they’ll share a kiss across the table.

At Crimson Lights, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will approach a glum-looking Victoria on the patio.

Victoria will snap about the times Billy warned her about Ashland and will congratulate him on being right.

When Billy finds out Ashland’s cancer story was bogus, he’ll be furious with him.

Victoria will admit she’s angry as well – both with Ashland and with herself for letting him deceive her.

Victoria will also express remorse for previously directing her anger at those who tried to offer warnings.

Victoria will explain how Ashland was plotting a merger from day one and took advantage of her love.

Victoria will talk about the mask revealing the monster underneath and will cry over how shattered she feels.

Billy won’t get why Ashland would even want the merger since he’d have to share all his “shiny new toys.”

Victoria will suggest that maybe Ashland planned for something to happen to her once he was in a position to take over the company.

Billy will wonder if Ashland ever said anything that might come across threatening or dangerous, but Victoria won’t think so.

Billy will hate that Victoria even has to consider the idea that Ashland might’ve wanted her out of the way.

Despite all the times they’ve clashed, Victoria will know she can always come to Billy when it really matters.

Billy will try to give Victoria a confidence boost and will promise to be there for her if she needs him.

Victoria will get confirmation that this conversation will stay between them and will thank Billy for his support.

As Victoria’s on her way out, Ashland will appear and admit he’s been looking for her everywhere.

Victoria will stare at Ashland while Billy stands in the patio doorway.

At The Grand Phoenix, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will spot Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) as she’s wrapping up a meeting with a fabric designer.

Chelsea will joke about being able to ditch the fake smile with Rey and will appreciate the chance to be her authentic self.

After Chelsea hints about Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and some pre-teen issues, she’ll decide Rey probably doesn’t want to hear about any of that.

However, Rey will remind Chelsea that he loves kids and will happily listen.

Chelsea will admit that it’s like she’s the enemy now. Everything Chelsea does is wrong, embarrassing or ridiculous to Connor.

Chelsea will know Connor is disappointed over his parents not getting back together and will mention that he misses all the sports from boarding school.

Although Chelsea will consider sending Connor back to boarding school if that’s what he wants, she’ll admit she would hate it.

Rey will suggest that sometimes a change feels like a solution when it’s often just a distraction.

Chelsea will get that she has to be patient when it comes to listening to Connor.

Rey will think it’s a compliment to Chelsea’s parenting that Connor knows he can come to her with anything, even going to boarding school. He’ll add that Connor is a lucky kid.

When Chelsea gets emotional, Rey will worry that he said something wrong. Chelsea will insist they’re good tears since Rey said all the right things.

She’ll just feel like she’s not doing enough for Connor, but Rey will assure Chelsea that she’s doing a great job.

Chelsea will thank Rey for the pep talk and will hope to repay the favor, but he’ll admit he genuinely enjoys talking to her.

Rey will think Chelsea has a big heart and is completely unpredictable. Chelsea will admit she trusts Rey and finds him really easy to be around.
