The Young and the Restless Spoilers: July Sweeps Preview – Dangerous Secrets, New Romances & Manipulation Missions

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that we’ve got a July sweeps preview, which features dangerous secrets, new romances and manipulation missions. Here’s what viewers can look forward to in Genoa City.

For starters, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will have to shift gears after failing to get her romance with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) back on track.

Despite the truce Phyllis called – or at least pretended to call – she’ll actually be on a mission to bring Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) down.

Since Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) has the same goal of getting rid of Diane, she’ll find common ground with Phyllis and join forces with her.

Meanwhile, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will feel more and more like an outsider at Chancellor-Winters, so that’ll drive him to connect with someone surprising.

It looks like that someone will be Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), so this could spell trouble if they cross any romantic lines.

Billy loves Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), but there’ll be some growing emotional distance between them – and that could leave Billy seeking comfort elsewhere.

As for Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose), she’ll keep manipulating the situation with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy).

Imani will intentionally sabotage Elena in some cases and try to make it so she stands a better shot at stealing Nate away from her.

The Hawaii trip that Elena’s about to take will also provide a pivotal time for Imani to bond with Nate alone.

Whether Imani succeeds or fails, she has to at least try to take advantage of this golden opportunity.

Other Y&R spoilers say Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will reenter the complex world of Newman Enterprises.

Although Nick won’t be thrilled about getting sucked back into all the drama, he’ll also know his family needs him to help navigate in times of crisis.

Of course, this is indeed a time of crisis since Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is plotting to destroy Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) and Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) new venture.

What Victor doesn’t know yet is that Victoria’s scheming to get $250 million of Ashland’s own money, which she considers stolen Newman money due to the deal he made.

Victoria will ultimately get busted, but by then it’ll be too late for Ashland to do anything to stop her.

This seems to be building to Ashland’s exit, so Victoria may get the last laugh as their fake renewed romance falls apart.

In the aftermath, Victor will have to decide what to do about the CEO seat at Newman Enterprises.

Will Victoria reclaim the throne or will Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) remain in power? Could Nick’s return to the company bring his own surprise stint in the big chair?

Victor will have to make some tough choices that’ll affect the level of tension in the Newman family, but there’ll be tension within the Abbott clan, too.

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will continue to grow closer to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), especially since she seems poised to work at Marchetti or at least Jabot.

Unfortunately, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) may battle growing concerns about Diane’s manipulation.

Since Kyle will be bonding with Diane so fast, Summer may encourage him to pump the brakes and even try to call Diane out on some sneaky moves.

Kyle and Summer have some marriage strife coming up, so let’s hope they can stick together.

Over with Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang), her friendship with Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will deepen until they’re on the verge of romantic territory.

It looks like Noah and Allie’s first kiss is coming up soon.

As for Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and the vocal nodules she’ll be dealing with, she’ll explore treatment options and lean on Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) for support.

Finally, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will continue to seek a new path forward following Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) death.

By helping the people she cares about like Nick, Mariah and Tessa, Sharon will keep finding comfort and getting stronger.

Nick and Sharon seem poised to reunite as a couple eventually, but this widow needs a real chance to heal and let go first.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say July sweeps will bring some sizzling romantic developments and some business curveballs, so stay tuned!
