The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will hit an all-time low on New Year’s Eve. Instead of enjoying the night with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), she’s alone and confused about their relationship.
Ever since Billy pulled Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) away from the ledge and saved her life, Lily has taken a backseat with him.
Billy’s obsessed with maintaining contact with Chelsea. If she texts him, Billy answers immediately, even when having an emotional conversation with Lily.
The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Billy promised to go to couple’s therapy with her after the first of the year.
But it is looking like they may not make it that long. They both acknowledge that they have issues in their relationship, and neither knows how to fix them.
While Lily cries in the cold alone, Billy enjoys a lovely evening with Chelsea and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).
Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Billy has no romantic feelings for Chelsea, but he’s putting her needs above Lily’s.
It’s a significant source of tension, and he’s not sure how to dial back on his support of Chelsea in her depressive state.
As Lily wipes tears away, Daniel Romalotti, Jr (Michael Graziadei) texts to wish her a Happy New Year.
It doesn’t look like she replies right away, but eventually, she’ll reach out to her high school sweetheart.
Perhaps, she will unload her problem on him, giving him a clearer picture of how neglectful Billy has been since Chelsea’s suicide attempt. It might be time for Daniel to
confide in Lily too. He should talk about his struggles, especially his depression and alcohol dependency. She would understand and offer him support as he puts his life back in order.
Billy doesn’t see how he’s destroying his relationship with Lily by giving Chelsea so much attention.
Young and the Restless spoilers state that Lily will make a painful decision during the week of December 26. That seems to suggest that Billy and Lily are as good as done.
When that happens, it will open the door for Lily to grow closer to Daniel, possibly even hop into his bed.
