The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, April 25 Recap – Kyle & Harrison’s Mystery – Chance Shares Rey’s Last Phone Call

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, April 25, reveals that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) will face a mystery while Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) shares Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) last phone call with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).

At the cottage on Monday’s Y&R episode, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will think Sharon needs to decide about the funeral before she heads to the morgue.

After Nick encourages Sharon to think about what Rey would want, she’ll realize that a part of Rey never left Miami.

Once Sharon decides she’ll call to have the body transported, she’ll insist Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) wedding plans will move forward if she has anything to say about it.

When Chance and Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) show up, they’ll offer some takeout and support.

Nick will take the lead on calling Celeste back while Sharon talks to Abby and Chance on the sofa.

Sharon will realize Chance was the last person to speak with Rey alive, so she’ll ask about that phone conversation when he’d gone back for the tickets.

Chance will admit Rey seemed like his usual self and was totally normal if that’s what Sharon wanted to know.

Sharon will reflect on kissing Rey and telling him that she loved him before he left the coffeehouse.

Although it was a casual moment, Sharon will be glad she did it. She’ll cry over it being the last time and apologize for getting emotional.

Chance will assure Sharon that Rey was the best partner he could ask for. He’ll also declare that Rey was a good friend who won’t be forgotten.

Later, Nick will tell Sharon that Celeste was grateful over her honoring the funeral request.

Nick will mention that he made arrangements to have Rey’s body transported to Miami after the autopsy.

Sharon will realize she’d better get to the morgue since there won’t be much time.

Sharon will ask Nick to go with her and will know she needs to say goodbye to Rey.

Next, Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will show up at Mariah and Tessa’s apartment.

They’ll reflect on Rey and Sharon’s relationship before Mariah tears up over what it’d be like to lose the person you love like that.

Tessa will take Mariah’s hand and offer reassurance about doing whatever she can to say by her side – for better or for worse.

That’ll remind Mariah about the wedding, which she’ll assume they’re going to postpone.

Noah won’t think that’s what Sharon wants and will point out that maybe a celebration is needed now more than ever.

In the end, Mariah and Tessa will decide that their wedding could indeed bring some joy at a difficult time.

At The Grand Phoenix, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will discuss the recent car crash.

Phyllis will let Jack know that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is still holed up in her room – and Phyllis will intend to keep it that way.

In Diane’s suite, she’ll flash back to Jack hoping Kyle agrees about not wanting her in their lives.

Diane will decide she can’t keep sitting around waiting, so she’ll don her disguise and take the elevator down to the lobby.

Diane will have her giant hat and sunglasses on as Phyllis shoves her back in the elevator – just in time for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to appear and wonder who that woman was.

Jack will get Nikki to sit down and brace herself, but Nikki will want him to just spit it out.

After Jack reveals Diane is alive, Nikki just won’t believe that’s possible.

Nikki will  think it has to be some sort of trick since she spent years believing she killed Diane in self-defense.

Jack will explain that Diane faked her death with Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) help and has now resurrected in hopes of reconnecting with Kyle.

Nikki will process the news and demand to see Diane for herself, so Jack will take her up to Diane’s room.

Meanwhile, Diane will rant about how she just wanted to stretch her legs and get some fresh air.

Diane will be sick of Phyllis butting in when she doesn’t belong, but Phyllis will think this involves her since anything that affects Kyle also affects Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).

Diane will decide she’ll never be able to convince Phyllis that she’d changed, but she won’t care. The only people who’ll matter to Diane are Jack and Kyle.

After Phyllis answers a knock at the door, Nikki will look shocked. She’ll glare at Diane, who’ll smirk back at her in response.

At the Abbott mansion, Kyle will bring Harrison in after their plane lands early. The house will be empty and leave them both with a mystery to ponder.

Since Jack told Kyle he’d be there all morning, Kyle will assume something must’ve come up.

Kyle will wonder what it could be as Harrison stands there waiting for Grandpa.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack will have some shocking updates for Kyle soon, so stay tuned to Y&R.
