The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, December 19, teases that Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will take a friendly approach when he serves Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) at The Glam Club. That’ll be a positive sign of acceptance, but Sally will know she’s got more work to do.
Nick will acknowledge that his family isn’t very trusting of Sally once he makes it back to her hotel suite.
Although Nick won’t care what was in the dossier, Sally will think he should know about all her past mistakes.
However, Nick will concentrate on who Sally is in the present and like where their romance is headed.
After lovemaking, Nick will suggest splitting his Christmas time between his family and some special one-on-one time with Sally, so she’ll get on board.
At the Newman ranch, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will object when Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) wants Chelsea to join the Newman family gathering.
The recent bio mom drama will be Victor’s biggest issue since he won’t like how Chelsea derailed Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) life.
Victor will fear Chelsea might have an agenda that involves getting closer to Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind), but Adam will downplay all that and fight for Connor to have both his parents present.
After Adam rants about Victor pressuring Chelsea into a fake breakdown and putting her in an institution, Victor will act like it was better than prison!
Nevertheless, Victor will surrender in the end and allow Chelsea to be part of the celebration.
Once Adam leaves, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will allude to Chelsea’s rough time lately and suggest maybe Adam is making the first move to reconnect with the Newman family.
Victor will also enjoy a slow dance with Nikki as they celebrate their romance.
Meanwhile, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will make amends and get Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) to accept her apology.
There’ll be some sweet moments as Chloe vows to help Chelsea find her purpose and stay on this road to recovery.
At Crimson Lights, Sharon will make sure the place is all decked out for the holidays with a little help from Noah, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks).
Tessa will go against Mariah’s wishes and let it slip that they’re meeting a pregnant woman after New Year’s.
Mariah will fret over the adoption falling through again and won’t want to everyone too much hope.
Nevertheless, Y&R spoilers say Sharon will truly appreciate the happy news and will think it’s all part of a lengthy process.
With Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) in Switzerland with her roommate’s family for the holidays, Sharon will be glad to get some positive grandbaby updates.
It’ll lift Sharon’s mood and give her something to look forward to.
Mariah and Tessa will eventually turn their attention to the nearby nativity scene, so they’ll seem hopeful as well as they look at the baby in the manger.
Once Chelsea finds out Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) wants to spend the night at the ranch, she’ll be disappointed over spending the evening alone – though she’ll try not to show it.
Sharon and Chloe will worry about Chelsea, but she’ll plaster on a smile and head out for a walk by herself.
Thankfully, Chelsea won’t be alone for long since Adam will find her and join her on a bench.
That’ll give Chelsea a chance to ask for Adam’s thoughts on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), but Adam won’t mind Billy facilitating her recovery if he’s really helping her.
Adam will also confide that he’s battling some loneliness following his Sally breakup. Although Adam will pity himself at times, he’ll also cling to the fact that he still has Connor and Chelsea as his family.
Chelsea and Adam link arms as they share a close moment by the Christmas carolers, so things will be going well for these co-parents. Could a renewed romance be in the works, too?
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam and Chelsea will always be connected, so maybe they could find love again if this keeps up.
