The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) may expose Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) as Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) mole. Could this be how Nate finds redemption with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil)?
Y&R fans know Lily has been struggling ever since Nate’s betrayal since she hates to see their family blown apart. Devon insists he’ll never forgive Nate, but it’s hard to believe he’ll really hold a grudge forever.
Although Devon may be angry right now, people have forgiven far worse on soaps. Devon himself has made horrible mistakes and been forgiven for them, so that’s important to keep in mind!
What Nate really needs is a path to redemption, so let’s mull over how he might find one. What could potentially earn Nate a chance at forgiveness?
Nate betrayed Chancellor-Winters big time when he partnered up with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and offered to sell her his shares. Despite Nate’s decision to back out and come clean, Devon can’t get past what he almost did to Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) legacy.
Perhaps the best redemption strategy here would be for Nate to prevent another catastrophe. Nate almost helped with a Chancellor-Winters takeover, but what if he stops a different takeover attempt?
The possibility is right there and waiting since Nate has formed a bond with Audra. In fact, Nate already seemed a bit suspicious when Audra didn’t hold his betrayal against him.
Audra remained friendly with Nate, so he could continue to cross paths with her and grow increasingly curious about what her deal is. Nate may sense trouble the more he gets to know Audra – and if he does, that could bring the opportunity for exposure.
There might even be a scenario where Audra drowns her sorrows over another Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) fight. If Audra has a little too much to drink, that could go a long way toward loosening her lips about her Tucker arrangement.
Then again, maybe Nate could just follow Audra back to Tucker’s suite and put the puzzle pieces together. The point is Audra’s a mole who needs to be exposed, and Nate is an ostracized family member who needs a way back on Devon and Lily’s good side.
If Nate can save Chancellor-Winters from a different takeover attempt – especially one orchestrated by Devon’s own biological father – that could help him prove his loyalty again. As other Y&R news comes in, we’ll bring you updates.
