The Young and the Restless Spoilers Next 2 Weeks: Sally’s Ruthless Side – Adam’s Career Move – Chelsea Makes a Mess for Billy

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks, August 8 to August 19, tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will show off her ruthless side while Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) wrestles with a career decision. Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will also make a mess for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), so let’s talk about what’s in store.

During the week of August 8-12, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will give Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) a chance to come clean, but they won’t take it.

That’ll send Chance to the ranch, where he’ll accuse Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) of an Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) cover-up.

Chance will urge Victor to admit he had his men move the body and stage the accident, but Victor may point out the good detective has no proof of that.

Nevertheless, Chance will keep up his efforts to prove his theory and will chase after more evidence with Kevin Fisher’s (Greg Rikaart) help.

After Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) learns Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is getting a job at Marchetti, she’ll obviously be less than thrilled.

Diane will sound the alarm when it comes to Phyllis’ obvious sabotage agenda, but Kyle will push for peace and count on his mom to behave.

Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will demand the same from Phyllis, who’ll pretend she’s going to stay in line.

In reality, Phyllis will move forward with the first phase of her plot to destroy Diane, so Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will approve.

Over with Nick and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), they’ll dwell on past mistakes and consider how the Ashland drama might explode.

There’ll be some growing fears about history repeating itself when it comes to how criminal cover-ups usually turn out in GC.

Nikki will decide she’d better have a little meeting with Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), whose loyalty will be put to the test.

Abby will walk away from this meeting realizing Nikki expects her to have Chance back off the investigation.

Of course, Abby may shut down the idea at first, but she’ll also know Chance could send beloved family members to prison.

Will Abby be tempted to intervene on Victor, Nick and Victoria’s behalf?

As for Chelsea, she’ll create a messy situation for Billy.

That could involve some podcast awkwardness – maybe even about her biological connection to Johnny Abbott (Holden and Ryan Hare) since it looks like Y&R will indeed work a Johnny angle soon.

Regardless, Chelsea will push the boundaries of her working relationship and leave Billy in a tight spot.

Billy won’t want to do anything to upset Victoria or anybody else, so he’ll have to handle Chelsea as best as he can.

Next, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will lean on Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and get some advice.

That’ll lead to Elena cornering Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) for answers about Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) and how close they’ve been getting lately.

Back with Victor, he’ll push his family to band together. Victor won’t think now is the time for infighting or any kind of divide.

However, Victor’s family meeting probably won’t include Adam, who made the decision to become a Newman in name only.

Adam will be feeling rather lost, but Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will offer him a Jabot job and try to help him find his way.

We’ll also see Sally show off her ruthless side as she threatens some of the Newmans and tries to score more information on Ashland.

Sally will also get rather harsh in an upcoming discussion with Adam, but she’ll feel like he deserves it after the way he treated her.

Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will have concerns about some of the moves Sally is making, but Sally will remain determined to score all the puzzle pieces she’s missing regarding the Ashland case.

Other Y&R spoilers say Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will face a surprising career curveball.

Since Tessa won’t be able to sing during her recovery, perhaps she’ll settle on a new path in the meantime.

During the week of August 15-19, Victor will push back as Chance fights for the truth.

Chance’s investigation will heat up, but Victor will refuse to let his scheme fall apart.

Diane will also make a vow to Jack, who’ll slowly but surely find himself more drawn to her.

Although Jack doesn’t want to let his guard down with Diane, he can’t help it if he enjoys her company these days.

Nikki will take another bold step forward in her Diane takedown strategy, so that’ll involve recruiting an investigative reporter named Talia Morgan (Natalie Morales).

Since Nikki is convinced there’s dirt out there, she’ll count on Talia to expose it.

Finally, Lily will find herself struggling to maintain a peaceful work environment.

It sounds like Devon and Nate will face more conflict, so Lily will get caught in the middle.

We’ll provide updates as other news comes in. The Young and the Restless spoilers say the next two weeks will bring some escalating hostility, so stay tuned.
