The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) paternity mystery could be brewing. Will some baby news strike after sleeping with both Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)?
Sally already hooked up with Nick at the office and then took him to bed back at her hotel suite.
After Adam found out, he had a major confrontation with Sally – one that ended with her insisting she was done with him and moving on.
However, Y&R spoilers say Sally will still be wrestling with her feelings for Adam during the week of September 26-30.
That doesn’t sound like someone who’s truly done and moving on at all!
Sally is kidding herself if she thinks she can just cut ties and leave Adam behind. It’s clear that Sally and Adam have a real connection, so they’ll remain drawn to each other.
Despite this extreme angst, the show seems to like Adam and Sally as a pairing.
All of this drama just feels like a way to give Sally and Adam some obstacles to overcome.
Nick and Sally certainly don’t seem to have potential as a long-term couple, but their hookups could cause problems.
Now that we know Sally will continue to struggle with what’s in her heart, does that mean she’ll surrender to temptation and land back in bed with Adam?
Sally may think that Adam is toxic on some level, but he’s also an addiction that’ll be tough to break.
At some point, it’s easy to imagine Adam and Sally’s chemistry exploding in the bedroom once again.
That’s especially true now that Nick has become Adam’s romantic rival. There’s no way Adam will want Nick to feel like the winner in this situation.
Of course, Sally isn’t something to be fought over and won, but that won’t stop Adam from feeling like this is a competition.
Adam may not be able to rest until he’s the one in Sally’s bed, not his brother!
With that in mind, the show could be gearing up for a baby bomb and a paternity mystery.
Will Sally sleep with Adam soon and end up uncertain of which Newman bun is in the oven?
