The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Thursday, August 25 Recap – Kyle Calls Out Diane’s Flirting – Adam Says No To Jabot

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, August 25, reveals that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will call out Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) flirting while Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) picks revenge over Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) job.

At Jabot, Diane will want to show Jack what she’s working on for Marchetti, but he’ll think it’s a mistake to second-guess herself and run everything by him.

Diane will agree to go straight to Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) next time, but she’ll suggest she might as well get Jack’s opinion while she’s there.

Kyle will witness Diane’s interaction with Jack and barge in his office. Once Kyle makes up a bogus excuse to drag Diane away, he’ll call her out for flirting with Jack and insist it needs to stop.

Diane will assure Kyle that he misread the situation and that she simply appreciates Jack’s friendship along with his guidance.

Kyle will hope that’s true, but he’ll still seem suspicious.

At Society, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will admit she finally recognized Talia Morgan (Natalie Morales) as a reporter based out of Los Angeles.

That’ll leave Summer worried Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is doing some hatchet job on Diane.

However, Phyllis will deny that and assure Summer that she wouldn’t do anything to jeopardize working with her daughter.

Although Phyllis will act like she only wants to be a good mother and grandmother, Summer will remain on edge.

Once Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) appears, he’ll mention the paperwork for the final sale of The Grand Phoenix.

Phyllis will admit she got it, but Summer will wonder if her mom is absolutely sure she’s ready to say goodbye to her hotel.

After Phyllis signs the paperwork on her tablet, she’ll insist it’s done.

Billy will ask if Phyllis is certain about this, but she’ll think it’s another chance to prove to the naysayers that there’s nothing she can’t do.

In the park, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will bump into Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and point out that she saw her intense conversation with Adam earlier.

Chelsea will act like everything’s fine and play up how she has a forever bond with Adam due to Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) as well as their history.

Once Chelsea highlights the fact that Sally wasn’t with Adam for very long, Sally will argue their time together was still passionate and intense.

Furthermore, Sally will think Chelsea is exaggerating her own lingering connection to Adam.

Chelsea will get a text about meeting up with Billy, so she’ll have some parting words for Sally.

Although Sally may think she understands Adam and knows everything about Chelsea, her rival will insist nothing could be further from the truth.

In Adam’s hotel suite, Lucas (Aaron Schwartz) will be revealed as a jack of all trades since he stole the laptop and now intends to hack into it.

Although Lucas will keep finding new fees that’ll add to his bill, Adam will promise to fairly compensate him. All Adam will need is access to the police report in the Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) case.

Once Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) shows up hurling accusations at both Adam and Lucas, they’ll play dumb.

Since Kevin won’t have proof or a search warrant, he’ll leave without his stolen laptop. Kevin will then call Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) in the lobby and admit he’s “totally screwed.”

Back upstairs, Adam will get a text from Jack asking if he can come by the Jabot office. Moments later, Lucas will grant Adam access to the Ashland police report.

After Adam starts reading through all the details, Lucas will push for his money so he can leave.

Adam will hand over an envelope with Lucas’ payment, so Lucas will insist it was a pleasure doing business with him.

Once Adam is alone, he’ll finish reading the police report and determine that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) staged the accident while Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) looked the other way.

In the podcast studio, Billy will admit he wanted to come together with Chelsea for one last show and pass the torch to her.

Chelsea will remain uncertain about flying solo, but Billy will give her a pep talk and bounce some ideas around.

After Billy talks about his unique connection with Chelsea, Y&R spoilers say she’ll plant a sizzling kiss on him.

At Newman Media, Sally will complain about her run-in with Chelsea before Chloe admits she’s got a bigger Adam problem.

Once Sally hears about Kevin’s stolen laptop and his suspicion that Adam’s after Ashland info, Sally will think that seems reasonable.

Although Sally won’t ask what Kevin is protecting on that laptop, she’ll wonder “what the hell” Adam will do if he finds what he’s looking for.

At Jabot, Adam will admit he’s honoured and would love to work with Jack, but he’ll have to pass on being co-CEO.

Adam will hint about another project he’s working on, so Jack will warn about the dangers of revenge and push him to keep moving forward.

After Adam provides reassurance, Jack will vow to leave the spot open in case Adam changes his mind.

Kyle will walk in on Jack shaking Adam’s hand and question his dad following Adam’s departure.

Once Jack reveals that Adam turned down the co-CEO offer, it’ll leave Kyle relieved. Kyle will insist Jabot doesn’t need Adam or his baggage, so he’ll hope Adam doesn’t have a change of heart.

Talk will turn to Kyle’s flimsy excuse for dragging Diane out earlier, so Jack will argue that he doesn’t need a babysitter.

Kyle will warn that Diane is becoming attached to his father, but Jack will maintain that he has no romantic interest and push Kyle to focus on his own life.

After Kyle and Summer meet up, they’ll discuss the latest drama with their moms and decide Jack is right.

Despite their fears, Summer and Kyle will agree it’s time to take a step back from the situation and let go.

At The Grand Phoenix, Phyllis will seem a little sad as she enters the hotel that’s no longer hers.

Nevertheless, Phyllis will shift gears quickly when she gets Talia on the phone and asks if they can meet about Diane.

Once Adam returns to his suite, he’ll call Chance about meeting up as soon as possible – and he’ll make it clear that Chance will indeed want to take this meeting.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chance seems poised to land in a tight spot, so stay tuned!
