Phyllis has been off in Milan since she got a job offer at Marchetti.

Deep down, Phyllis wants Jack to give her a reason to stay in Genoa City, but they can’t seem to get on the same page.
Nevertheless, Phyllis will finally wrap up her fact-finding mission, though she probably hasn’t made a firm decision on her future yet.
Even if Phyllis has chosen Milan offscreen, the mysterious discovery that awaits could change her mind.
Phyllis will come home on Thursday and find a clue that kicks off a new mystery storyline.
Since Jack will also receive a message that baffles him, he’ll become part of this mystery as well.
Y&R is being cryptic about the details so far, but we know Phyllis and Jack will ultimately join forces for a big adventure.
In the coming episodes, Jack and Phyllis will tackle this challenge as a team and face more surprises on their journey.
Naturally, this seems like the ideal way for Phyllis and Jack to head back into romantic territory.
Jack and Phyllis are on the verge of a passionate reunion, so we have to wonder who’s behind the mystery.
Lauren will do something bold and risky on Thursday’s episode, so it’s possible she’ll set all this in motion.
Then again, maybe the show will leave viewers in the dark for a while.
It might take some time before they reveal who’s taking Phyllis and Jack down this winding road.
In that case, Lauren’s gamble might tie in with Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) Peru clinic investigation Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
It’s possible Lauren will take steps to learn what Michael’s up to and cause drama as a result.
