The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, September 15, tease that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will get a surprising invitation while Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) makes a big mistake. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will also have a strategy session with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), so here’s what Y&R fans can expect
Since Nikki is planning on meeting with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) in Los Angeles, it looks like that’s what Victor’s strategy session will be about. Victor thinks Deacon is a scoundrel, so he’ll want to be sure Nikki’s ready to go up against her sneaky ex-husband.
If you watch The Bold and the Beautiful, you know Deacon has mostly turned from his wicked ways – though he still makes bad decisions sometimes. Deacon is currently hiding fugitive Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) at his apartment, so he’s got bigger problems than Nikki right now!
Nevertheless, Victor will help Nikki rise to this Deacon challenge. The goal is to score dirt on Diane, so Victor will support the intended outcome – even if he’s not thrilled about the Deacon meeting itself.
In the meantime, Diane will get a surprising invitation from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). That could be something simple if Jack invites Diane for a nightcap or something along those lines.
Then again, there’s a chance Jack will have a better surprise in mind. Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) have a vow renewal coming up along with their hometown wedding reception, so Jack may need a date.
Of course, Jack might not make it a full-blown date-date and could suggest going as friendly grandparents instead. Regardless, Diane is all for any opportunity to bond with Jack and may jump at whatever invitation he extends.
Since Diane recently pointed the finger at Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) for sabotaging her, will she tell Jack what she found on her computer? Diane has to tread carefully when it comes to bashing Phyllis, but she may not be able to resist some criticism.
Once Nate vents to Imani Benedict (temporarily played by Denise Boutte), she’ll fuel his conflict with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) even further.
Imani may convince Nate to stick with Chancellor-Winters after all – or maybe she’ll suggest revenge can be just as sweet now that he’s parted ways with the company.
Regardless, Imani will give some bad advice that keeps Nate on the same bitter path. Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will later voice concerns about Nate’s decisions lately and will no doubt blame Imani for leading him astray.
Nate will be making a big mistake by listening to Imani, but there won’t be anything Elena can do to stop him! It sounds like Nate will just have to learn his lesson the hard way.
Meanwhile, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will prepare to pour his heart out to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and try to win her back. Sally will think this should be goodbye instead, but Adam will wonder if she’s really ready to throw away what they had.
However, Sally may argue that Adam did that already and send him on his way. Some heartbreaking Adam and Sally scenes will play out before the week winds down, so stick with us for the latest updates and news.
