The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) could become a powercouple after Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) rejection. Will this romantic match shake up GC and spark some outrage in the process?
Tucker’s return has already caused plenty of trouble, but there’s much more on the way.
Phyllis and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) are on the verge of proving Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) connection to Tucker, but that exposure will hurt Diane far more than it hurts him.
Diane has been Tucker’s Abbott spy for quite some time, but it’s not going to matter much to him once that comes out. Tucker’s mission to make amends with Ashley will remain the same.
However, Ashley certainly won’t just fall right back into Tucker’s arms and offer forgiveness. If Ashley rejects Tucker entirely, what will he do next?
Tucker doesn’t seem like the type to give up easily, but there may come a point where he gets interested in someone else.
Phyllis might be an intriguing possibility – and Y&R is already laying the groundwork for her to potentially be paired with Tucker.
In the October 5 episode, Phyllis seems appalled at the idea of Tucker and Diane possibly rekindling something out in LA since Tucker could do better than her.
You can bet Phyllis would consider herself a better option than Diane, so maybe this is building to a situation where Phyllis herself falls for Tucker.
There’s no denying that Phyllis and Tucker are a lot alike when it comes to their scheming sides and relentless nature.
Maybe Phyllis could be Tucker’s perfect match if love is given a chance to bloom. Phyllis would have an extra incentive since she’d know dating Tucker would get under Diane’s skin.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Summer Newman-Abbott would surely object to Phyllis getting involved with a guy like Tucker, so a ton of juicy material could come out of a Phyllis and Tucker love story.
Tucker and Phyllis could accomplish great things as a GC powercouple, so it’ll be interesting to see if that’s the route Y&R writers take down the road.
