The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) may have a grandson visit behind Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) back. Will Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) make a big Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) mistake?
Y&R fans know Abby doesn’t want Tucker anywhere near Dominic since he could be dangerous or at least a bad influence in her eyes.
Of course, Chance thinks Abby is overreacting since Dominic is just a toddler and not someone who can be manipulated into Tucker’s mini-me at this point.
Besides, it’s obvious that Tucker’s priorities are winning Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) back and carrying out his business projects.
Although Tucker hopes to reconnect with Devon and get to know Dominic, he doesn’t really seem like the doting grandpa type.
That said, Tucker does want to meet Dominic if possible – and Devon has agreed to arrange a visit.
Since Abby clearly has major issues with Tucker, Devon has warned his bio dad to let him orchestrate this visit to avoid any unnecessary drama.
The problem is Abby has zero interest in arranging a visit at all. If Devon tries to work with Abby on this, he’s going to get some pushback.
Devon might end up deciding that what Abby doesn’t know won’t hurt her.
Since Devon spends plenty of time on his own with Dominic, he may just slip in a visit under the radar – or at least try to.
It seems likely Chance will be in the loop since it’d add to the conflict.
Abby is bound to find out anyway if Devon and Chance try to get sneaky about letting Tucker meet his grandson.
It’s even possible that Chance will simply be watching Dominic when he runs into Tucker and Devon – like through an accidental encounter at Society or Crimson Lights.
Perhaps Chance could hand Dom over to Tucker – only to have Abby come around the corner and see Dominic in his grandpa’s arms.
That’s the kind of thing that could cause Abby to completely lose it and rage at Devon as well as Chance for allowing this.
Bottom line, Abby doesn’t want Tucker around Dominic, but Devon and Chance seem ready to fight her on it.
That may lead to some co-parenting obstacles and more hostility in Abby’s marriage, too.
