The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, August 16, tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will make an impressive move that surprises Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Meanwhile, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will fear a company blowup, which could also crumble her family.
For starters, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will want the Newmans to get their heads in the game.
After revealing the latest evidence in Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) investigation, Victor will think it’s more important than ever to present a united front.
Y&R spoilers say Victor will hand down an ultimatum, so Nick, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will have to decide if they’re on board.
Nikki almost always supports her husband, so Victor doesn’t have to worry about her.
By now, Nikki understands that she married a complicated man who goes to extremes.
Victoria tends to be a pretty loyal Newman soldier in situations like this as well.
The one time Victoria ever really went against the grain was with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) and look where that got her!
Victoria has no doubt learned her lesson when it comes to not listening to Victor, so she should cooperate, too.
It’s Nick who is facing a major crisis of conscience and will continue to be a thorn in Victor’s side.
However, Nick should get a distraction in the form of Sally later. Perhaps Nick will pay Sally a visit and learn she’s still being cautious about what she publishes.
Sally might also admit the quid pro quo she offered Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), which involved telling him what she knew about Ashland’s death in exchange for the truth about their breakup.
Of course, Sally assured Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) that she had no intention of keeping her end of the bargain, so she may assure Nick as well.
Sally doesn’t want to do anything that might jeopardize her job, so Nick will find himself feeling rather impressed with her.
Over with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), their work feud will get even worse.
Devon will explode since Nate can’t seem to obey orders, but Nate will bring up the punch that led to him losing his career as a surgeon.
Lily will witness more clashing and worry that Chancellor-Winters will take a serious hit if this keeps up.
This team is on the verge of falling apart – and that could lead to their family falling apart in the aftermath.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily will do everything in her power to promote peace, but it may be beyond her control at this point.
