The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, June 21, teases that Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) demand will stun Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) while Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) face off. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will also make a significant choice, so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.
After Phyllis returns from her trip to visit Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), she’ll assure Summer that she’s changed her attitude.
Phyllis will claim she did some soul-searching and now realizes she can’t keep holding onto all her rage toward Diane Jenkins (Susan Jenkins).
However, Summer will catch Phyllis off guard by pushing her to prove this transformation.
If Phyllis has really changed, Summer will think she should be able to meet with Diane and call a formal truce between them.
Of course, Phyllis won’t like the sound of that, but she’ll be backed into a corner.
Since Phyllis won’t be able to wiggle out of this tight spot, she’ll end up in the park for a meeting with her worst enemy.
Diane will gladly accept Phyllis’ offer to put their issues aside for the sake of their children.
Phyllis will act like she’s doing this for Summer and Kyle, but she’ll be hoping it makes a difference with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) in the back of her mind.
As for Diane, she’ll be tickled pink over Phyllis’ willingness to meet her halfway.
That won’t stop Diane from all her subtle scheming, but she’ll be all for anything that makes her seem like less of a pariah.
In the meantime, Kyle will rise to the challenge and make an important decision.
This should involve Kyle choosing to step down as Jabot’s co-CEO and run Marchetti instead – just like Summer hoped he would.
Next, Chelsea will have a major disagreement with Chloe, so they’ll bicker over their fashion line and what the future holds.
This partnership will be strained, but Gloria Fisher-Bardwell (Judith Chapman) will pop up and offer to play peacemaker.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Gloria will act like a beacon of spiritual enlightenment, but we’ll see if she can actually prove helpful!
