The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, October 12 Recap – Elena Leaving GC, Dumps Nate – Chelsea Fires Back at Billy

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, October 12 teases that Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will announce she’s leaving Genoa City and will dump Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) despite his desperate pleas. Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will also fire back at Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.

At Noah Newman’s (Rory Gibson) nightclub, he’ll fill Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) in on Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) surprise arrival.

Tessa won’t think Audra is a threat to Noah’s happiness since his life is going so well, but he’ll warn that she’s still trouble.

At Crimson Lights, Audra will spot Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) at a table and insist on joining her.

After Audra asks how Noah and Allie met, she’ll respond with an unenthusiastic “cute” once she hears the story.

Audra will also warn Allie about Noah’s moody artist phases, but Allie will think Noah is thriving now that he’s in an environment where he’s surrounded by love.

Once Allie admits she can see right through Audra, she’ll contend that nothing Audra says or implies will ever make her question Noah’s affections for her.

Audra will act like that’s not what she’s doing at all and will claim she’s glad Noah found someone.

Since Audra and Noah were so electric, she’ll suggest it was inevitable for their fire to burn out.

Audra will take a veiled jab about Allie and Noah being lucky they don’t have that problem.

Afterward, Allie will meet up with Noah, Mariah and Tessa at the nightclub.

Although Allie will offer updates on the annoying run-in with Noah’s ex, she won’t be worried about Audra.

In the park, Billy will spot Chelsea and wonder if she’s camping out for another chance to ambush Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind).

Chelsea will deny doing that before, but Billy will think she’s pushing boundaries and will warn her to respect Johnny’s parents on this.

However, Chelsea will think her biological connection to Johnny should be respected, too.

After Billy suggests that Chelsea is feeling lost and using Johnny to balance things out, Chelsea will fume over the accusation.

It’ll remind Chelsea of when Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) accused her of using Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) to fix the broken parts of her, so she’ll ask if that’s how Billy sees her.

Billy won’t think Chelsea is a bad person, but he’ll make it clear that his children have to come first.

At Newman Enterprises, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will grow concerned about potentially going up against Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) on this IPO situation.

After Nick learns the IPO has been fast-tracked, he’ll push Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to take a closer look at her true motives.

At Chancellor-Winters, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will admit to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) that he’s having second thoughts about rushing things.

Nevertheless, Lily will feel confident that they’ve got precautions in place to protect the company.

Over with Nate, he’ll push Elena to come home and will suggest they could leave their careers outside the door.

Nate will want Elena to have faith in their love, but Victoria will interrupt their conversation at the penthouse.

After Elena decides to leave and pick this up with Nate later, Victoria will speak with him alone. If Nate intends to back out, Victoria will insist now would be the time since his window is about to close.

Nate will assure Victoria that he’s all in, but he’ll wonder if Victoria is having second thoughts instead.

Victoria will admit to mulling over her motives and will decide she’s honoring what Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) wanted since she left the company to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

After Billy leaves Victoria a voicemail to call him back, he’ll bump into Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) and learn she’s joined the team at Chancellor-Winters.

Billy will ask why Lily didn’t tell him, so she’ll act surprised that he cares since he’s so disinterested in his position.

Once Billy tells Lily that he’ll wait until the IPO dust settles to leave, he’ll hope this isn’t too infuriating.

Billy won’t want to damage their relationship, so Lily will offer reassurance and urge Billy to keep his looming departure quiet for now.

At the coffeehouse again, Victoria will tell Elena that she’s sorry if her partnership with Nate has caused problems.

Elena will doubt that Victoria is truly sorry and will suggest she’s ignoring the collision course he’s on with his family.

Victoria won’t think Elena should fault Nate for knowing how to play the game, but her use of the word “game” will tell Elena everything she needs to know.

Afterward, Victoria will reconvene with Nick to share that they’re moving full-speed ahead with their plans at Chancellor-Winters.

Back at the office, Audra will sit down for a meeting with Devon, Lily, Billy and Nate.

They’ll be ready to file the paperwork – and if all goes well, they’ll be prepared to launch the IPO ahead of schedule.

After Elena shows up, Nate will try to act like this is not a good time.

Lily will gush about how Elena can be the first person to know they’re seconds away from finalizing their IPO paperwork.

It’ll quickly become evident that something’s wrong, so Devon and the others will push Elena to open up.

Elena will ask to speak to Nate privately instead and will add that it can’t wait.

Once Elena and Nate step out, she’ll drop the bomb that she’s leaving Genoa City. Nate will assume Elena means on vacation, but she’ll insist she means forever.

There’s still a position open at the Baltimore hospital that previously wanted Elena on their team, so Elena will plan to interview for it.

Elena will expect an offer, so she’ll tell Nate that she’s leaving tonight.

After Elena clarifies that she’s saying goodbye, Nate won’t want to give up on their love. Elena will maintain that it’s over and will refuse to change her mind.

Once Elena says Nate will do what he has to do, she’ll insist she has to do the same.

Elena will give Nate a quick kiss before walking away, so he’ll look distraught over getting dumped.

Moments later, Nate will rejoin the meeting before revealing he needs to tell Devon and Lily something in private.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nate will have to decide how to handle this tricky corporate dilemma, so stay tuned!
