The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, October 4, teases that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will sound the alarm while Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) gets outwitted. Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will also hire Esther Valentine (Kate Linder), so there’ll be some big things happening in Genoa City.
Victoria will know Tucker’s back in town after witnessing his vow renewal spectacle.
It’s clear that Tucker wanted to put on quite a show at Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) recommitment ceremony.
Victoria won’t want Victor to feel blindsided by Tucker’s return, so she may be the one to spill the big news.
Regardless, Victor will do some plotting and hope to send a bold message.
Y&R spoilers say Victor will outwit a foe, so it makes sense that he’ll find some way to undermine Tucker and his shady agenda.
However, Tucker will end up juggling multiple angles while he’s in town, so he may not care too much about this little Victor hiccup.
Even so, Tucker will prepare to face off with Victor and exchange some harsh words with his former flame.
In the meantime, Victoria will focus on her majority shareholder goal and do a little more planning with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Nate will need updates on Tucker’s comeback since it could affect Chancellor-Winters.
Victoria and Nate will have to contemplate the possibility that Tucker’s return relates to the company going public.
Nevertheless, Victoria and Nate will be committed to scoring a big takeover win. It’s just a matter of whether Tucker will hinder their intentions and make a mess.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Esther will be tickled pink over a new job opportunity.
Devon will recruit Esme for the team at Chancellor-Winters, so he might put her in charge of a department or let her host a new podcast.
One way or another, Esther will accept a new job at Chancellor-Winters and prove she’s got what it takes to succeed in the corporate world.
Naturally, Devon will have to find out about his bio dad’s return sooner or later, so Tucker’s decision to resurface will affect him, too.
