The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, September 27, tease that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will grill Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) while Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) goes too far. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will also unleash her fury, so let’s talk about what’s coming up on Y&R.
For starters, Diane will find herself facing another interrogation over the past.
Phyllis will still be waiting on updates from Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), but she’ll try to make herself useful in the meantime.
That’ll lead to Phyllis doing a little digging herself, so she may stumble across something shady and bring it up in front of Jack.
Whatever the case, Diane will have to tackle some tricky questions as Jack and Phyllis gang up on her.
Of course, Diane is pretty good at talking her way out of trouble, so she’ll smooth things over with Jack – at least for now.
The real drama won’t come until Diane’s mysterious accomplice arrives in town and blows things up for her.
Until then, Nate will go too far, so that could put his plan in jeopardy.
It’s clear that Nate’s secret partnership with Victoria is already a risk, so he needs to be careful about any new gambles along the way.
However, Nate’s biggest risk right now may be his relationship since Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will become increasingly disappointed in him.
Elena will lash out over the changes she’s seeing in Nate as this couple builds toward a split.
Over with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), she’ll get into an argument with Victoria.
Chelsea promised to accept Johnny Abbott’s (Paxton Mishkind) decision and back off if he didn’t respond positively to the birth mom news.
Instead, Chelsea may contend that she deserves a chance to speak with Johnny and make him understand.
We’ll see Chelsea dig her heels in and infuriate Victoria, who’ll complain to Billy soon enough.
Since Johnny won’t be coping well at all, Chelsea could make things even worse if she goes rogue and reaches out to him.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea will hold out hope that Johnny will accept her, so we’ll see if it happens down the road.
