Although Victoria previously suggested there was no way Ashland could hurt her now, she might be very wrong about that!
Ashland is on a mission for vengeance, so Victoria may regret going after her own payback.
After all, Ashland was already going to leave town and never look back.
Victoria is the one who pretended to turn against her family and make this bold statement.
We watched Victoria go to great lengths just to prove a point and make sure her plan overrode Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman).
Victoria didn’t have to poke the bear by tricking Ashland into surrendering the money and then dumping him all over again.
Viewers watched Victoria reclaim the Newman throne in the aftermath, so she’s on top of the world – especially now that Adam has decided to walk away from the company.
However, Victoria could face far worse consequences than she imagined.
Whether Ashland fakes his death or actually gets killed, Victoria could find herself on the hook for murder depending on the evidence.
Ashland will taunt Victoria at her home soon, so Nick will make a shocking discovery after their showdown.
Whether Ashland is found dead at that point or later on, it sounds like a corpse will indeed pop up at some point.
It’d be a fitting twist for Victoria to face a forced break from her co-CEO duties.
Victoria may get arrested and land behind bars if Ashland’s grim fate makes her look guilty.
After all the drama Victoria’s caused lately, it’d be pretty satisfying to watch her suffer – if only for a little while!
