The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) may find herself divorced and jobless after Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) exposure. The ice queen’s downfall may hit hard, so she could be heartbroken and humiliated soon enough.
Victoria feels like she’s on top of the world with Ashland by her side.
Victoria was initially a little uncomfortable with Ashland taking on a more active role at Newman-Locke, but she’s coming around now.
Victoria loves Ashland and wants to believe they’re a true team – an unstoppable powercouple that’s just getting stronger.
Unfortunately, it appears Ashland’s been playing Victoria from the start.
It’s doubtful Ashland ever had lung cancer, so his goal was seemingly always this merger and a marriage that would help him achieve more power.
Of course, there’s a good chance Ashland legitimately fell for Victoria somewhere along the way.
It’s just tough to believe the whole marriage was a sham when Victoria has that same ruthless personality.
Why wouldn’t Ashland be drawn to her? Even so, Ashland’s primary goal has apparently always been about business over love.
Victoria is in for a rude awakening when she realizes Ashland hasn’t been totally honest with her.
Victoria thinks there are no more secrets between them, but Ashland is keeping some big ones – starting with his funding of the Peruvian clinic and his mysterious plan.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is stepping up to handle this and will do whatever it takes to protect Newman Enterprises.
Victor won’t let Ashland put his empire in jeopardy, but Victoria will have to become privy to all this sooner or later.
There’ll be some explosive Y&R revelations and fights once Victoria realizes Ashland’s been manipulating her.
Victoria may not appreciate Victor going behind her back and leaving her in the dark either.
Victoria might also find that she’s the latest Newman child to fall out of favor.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) seems poised to land in the CEO seat, so Victoria may divorce Ashland and get knocked off the Newman throne, too.
Victoria has set herself up for a huge fall – and considering how smug Victoria has been in recent months, it’ll be a beautiful thing to watch!
Victoria deserves to be taken down a few pegs under the circumstances.
Victoria will find a way to bounce back eventually, but she may face some serious struggles in the meantime.
