The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, August 3, tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will dig for clues while Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) stress rises. Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will also play peacemaker, so there’ll be a lot happening in Genoa City.
For starters, Sally will grow increasingly curious about Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) death and the circumstances surrounding it.
After promising to stick to the facts of the case, Sally will feel like she needs to dig for more information and find out exactly what those facts are.
This could become quite the news story, so Sally will feel obligated to push Nick for as much info as possible.
Tuesday’s episode brings the revelation that Nick had a fight with Ashland before the crash, so Sally may have more questions about that confrontation on Wednesday, August 3.
Nick is already stressed and skeptical over Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) side of the story, so Sally’s grilling session is the last thing he needs.
This could lead to Nick running out of patience with Sally and losing his temper, which would only further convince her that the Newmans have something to hide.
Meanwhile, Amanda will step up to help when another fight gets out of hand.
This should thankfully be a less physical faceoff, but Amanda will still feel the need to intervene.
Amanda recently walked in on a tense moment between Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), so she may have to make peace between the clashing cousins.
Then again, we know Amanda will make a vow to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) later this week.
There’s a chance Amanda will get caught in a showdown between Diane and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), which would be helpful since they could use a referee.
Either way, Amanda tends to have a calming presence and should be able to deal with whatever hostile situation she lands in.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda will get dragged into drama, but she’ll handle it like a pro and hope it all works out!
