The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, February 23, tease that Victor will score false medical info ammo after Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) video proves Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) lied about his condition. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will also make a power play, so let’s talk about what’s coming up.
Victor has been waiting for Michael to pay the fired doctor he found and get him to go on the record against Ashland.
Fortunately, Michael will make it happen – and that means Victor will soon receive a video confession from the doc.
It turns out this doctor was paid big bucks to falsify Ashland medical records and make him look deathly ill.
Ashland’s lung cancer diagnosis was apparently bogus from the start, so Victor will prepare to take vengeful action.
In the meantime, Lily will get a visit from Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), who’ll admit he’s tempted to take Ashland’s job offer.
Once Lily realizes Nate might leave his position at the hospital, she’ll suggest he should come to work for her at Chancellor Industries instead.
Since nothing is set in stone at Newman-Locke, Lily will see no reason why she can’t give Ashland a little competition.
Lily will do her best to sell Nate on the idea of working together, but she may warn that Nate needs to be sure he’s ready for the corporate world.
As for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), he’ll move forward with plans for his first podcast.
Billy will hope he can share words of wisdom with anyone who’ll listen, but there’ll be some challenges along the way.
Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) will face some struggles of her own as she settles in at Chancellor Industries, so that’ll bring some clashing with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) later this week.
It’ll be interesting to see if Billy and Imani grow closer once problems strike.
Y&R has put them in a story together for a reason – not to mention Imani seems a little too curious about Billy and what he’s all about.
Will Imani cause problems in Lily and Billy’s relationship? Time will tell, but it’s just a situation to keep an eye on for now!
